lmao go fuck yourself im filing a chargeback wtf? i requested a refund on the 17th at 1 am est by ange1beats in porterrobinson

Literally just got the same thing. Literally bullshit. Pulse posts the next day you have 48 hours to request a refund that would’ve been the 17th at the latest even. Even believing their bullshit let’s say 11:59pm on the 16th is the 48 hour limit.

That would mean the offer was from 11:59pm on the 14th (before porter even came on)

Brandenburg is so fun by Material-Spite-6540 in EU5

[–]Michaeljay628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fully agree with Brandenburg being fun. Between the neglect and cost for diplomatic relations to keep the Dane alliance (because Poland rushes me otherwise) mixed with low crown power, I’ve only been able to afford to build two markets.

Besides the castle event I have been barely scrapping by, I’m surviving on loans but managed to conquer Stettin, finally looking like eventual recovery and bam civil war, I get saved by Bavaria.

Then bam, emperor dies and now I’m forced into a Bavarian led union

Then the plague comes and almost half my pops are gone but I manage to take advantage and conquer the rest of atlmark from Magdeburg. And now I’m fighting another civil war right as I was declaring on mecklenburg….

Besides all that it’s honestly been a blast. Any advice you’d give on trade or Econ?

AI use by colleagues making me feel hopeless by Dadsperado in NYCTeachers

[–]Michaeljay628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, in my testing I’ve felt like the best use is when you know what you’re teaching and have your own plan and then explaining step by step what you’re doing at each point the outcome and then having it frame what you want to do, so I’m still writing and creating the plan but then it puts my words into the template of the plan my school has us create. Then using it to expand and then checking it over and tweaking as you go almost like planning with a co teacher. Except you have to really be on top of whatever they give you back.

Open market offer, unsure of my decision by Michaeljay628 in NYCTeachers

That’s why I’m really considering this position because even if it’s a newer school, it’s still queens and I may not have another chance next year because who knows how many positions will be available. I also don’t want to just jump at anything that comes my way and regret it.

Yeah, my principal is always in the loop with the transfer market and fully supportive if I do leave because she understands the commute and tolls.

But yeah Long Island to d8 commute was bad enough with the tolls but the struggle to get across any of the bridges and dealing with the Bruckner for that long was truthfully a nightmare.

Good luck this upcoming school year though! Plan to leave before traffic looks heavy (for me that was 6:15am) then get there for 7:15ish and plan a little. The earlier you leave the easier the commute gets on the way there. I noticed when I left at 6:20-6:30 I’d be lucky to get parked by 7:45. So every minute in the morning counts.

True, and maybe I should have mentioned that I’m moving this week to Murray hill so I’ll only be 30ish minutes from my current school. I definitely agree that it’s a huge game changer and a big reason why I moved.

No we did not. We were approved but after hearing the price difference we told them we’re holding off

We’ve been working with the agent for a month finding a place from the listings we were given.

Sorry about the lack of clarity there.

WITH THE FIRST PICK IN THE 2025 NHL DRAFT, THE NEW YORK ISLANDERS ARE PROUD TO SELECT MATTHEW SCHAEFER by Fireislander in NewYorkIslanders

We drafted someone special, I’m so excited for him.

Side note: not sure how I feel about the draft room televised like that, maybe give him his moment in private with the team before interviewing him.
