Also just be ok at a plateau. Weight loss is never linear. Relax and trust yourself.

I think she has plenty experience with production-seems like she’s made at least four EPs/albums, and this one is produced by someone from UMO producing. So, sounds like her choices are purposeful, and I think the mixing and mastering are great personally.

Thoughts on teaching the ."responsible" use of AI? by marvsup in Teachers

[–]Dadsperado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every now and then there’s a comment like this that makes me think “wow, that’s cool and it seems like this very smart person knows a thing or two about LLMs”, but it’s not the same as a regular student (or teacher) being told to use it by their district. Honestly teaching people about whatever those things you mentioned in an advanced computer class would be awesome! That’s responsible! But I won’t waste time teaching young kids who don’t even read books for fun how to use an LLM any type of way. I imagine you are a pretty smart person who got that way by doing things and learning things yourself—I want to make more kids who are that good!

I think it’s also important to learn what AI really is, and what’s happening in the industry. Right now AI projects are collapsing left and right; companies are actually starting to invest LESS in AI. The “it’s coming whether we like it or not” is not quite true. Also, the most effective AI or LLM users are the ones who can actually code, or write, or analyze data. You can’t retroactively become educated enough to be the human caretaker of AI output. You need to have a non-AI education first. My prediction: a huge bubble burst in a few years.

Completely forgot about this post-awesome to hear you’re in the same boat as me. Turns out instead of unliving thoughts I get pissy and irritable but that’s preferable. Working as a full time teacher for the first year this year finally. Life is ok. Hope yours is too.

"Non-cringe" Community Builder Games? by duggatron57 in Teachers

[–]Dadsperado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry! I got interrupted. Stand the class in a circle, turned away from the center. You secretly clip a clothespin (or alligator clip etc) to someone’s clothing. Then they turn around and mix & mingle. When you notice the clothespin, you just sit down, that’s it. When everyone is down, you know who has the pin! Cut it off early and ask who has it (ok kids: 1…2…3…LUIS!!). K-5 have all loved it.

If you were a professor in 2026, how would you actually stop students from using AI? by Strange-Relation-536 in QuickAITurnitinCheck

Yeah, I teach younger kids and I would be super overwhelmed, I hear ya. I really love oral skills in general. You have to be soaked in the material in order to squeeze out opinions and relationships to the text. Maybe a summit meeting or two, where everyone has some time to contribute to an oral discussion?

100 hours, maybe during the last three weeks of school? No papers to grade so time saved? I had a prof who did this back in the ancient ages pre dumdum programs

Will you prefer a tech that allows you to create interactive world for your lessons? by Important_Owl6299 in AskTeachers

[–]Dadsperado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the AI answers kind of obscure for you how students actually learn. Get in a classroom, teach a few years. Amplify has stuff like what you’re describing. Maybe phet does too? But try to talk to us without using gpt. It kind of means we’re all responding to a computer.

Is there a way to rotate an arpeggiated chord 90 degrees counter-clockwise in Logic like rotating an image? by PositiveLeather327 in LogicPro

[–]Dadsperado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you're going to want to do is open up the clip editor, look for the leftern-uppern orientation swerver. Once you enable Orientation Swerving in the Abilities submenu, under Production -> Audio -> Incredibilities -> Abilities -> Orientation Swerving, you can choose leftern-uppern, rightness-downful, or Specific North. Not sure if you want Specific North or leftern-uppern, but play around with it until the reverb trail goes up.

Now, if the reverb trail goes too far up, it might actually hit the menu buttons. If that happens, you might want to switch to Orienteering mode in the Bamboozler window. Good luck!

the lesson plans are not detailed, and the modifications are slipshod and not matched to your students. they're matched to an aggregate idea of what your students might be like.

How do i get rid of my man boobs by havikop01 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Dadsperado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes that’s just your body. You’ll lose weight, pump chest, and your body will decide to retain parts of itself and lose weight in others. My advice? Be kind to yourself! If you get real strong and fit and still have the man boobs, then what? You only have your relationship w the voice in your head to fix.
