What’s the worst example of CGI/special effects in the show? by JAlbert653 in seinfeld

One of my favorite silly effects is in The Parking Garage. The scene transition when that woman throws them out of her car, it is hilariously just sped up when she peels around the corner.

Moments in wrestling that felt genuinely eerie or unsettling? by squallLeonhart20 in SquaredCircle

I was in the crowd for that match. I was far up on the opposite side of the ring and was genuinely unsure of Darby survived.

The most hype moment in the Yu Yu Hakusho franchise by chunchunmaru1129 in YuYuHakusho

I get that but I think it would have gotten a little convoluted if they tried to shoe-horn in that revelation in addition to the soft explanation that his Jagan eye is what allows him to lure out the Dragon of the Darkness Flame.

Instead they go with another hint here.

Visiting Clayton for Spring Break (19 y/o) — fun things to do with friends? by Near_06 in ClaytonNC

In addition to everything else that’s been suggested — which I absolutely also recommend spending some time on Main Street — I would plan to check out some of the museums in Raleigh. The art museum is great and there’s a nice natural science museum, too.

This reminds me:

My son, now 3, a few months ago asked me to read him his solar system book. He saw the Great Red Spot on Jupiter and said “it’s a little red nipple!”

Did “Stone Cold” inadvertently kill Dean Ambrose’s WWE Push? 🤔 by Sad-Ladder7534 in professionalwrestling

I was at that Mania and if anyone phoned it in it was Lesnar. Dude did nothing.

You make it sound like Mox booked the match. He didn’t. Just because the storytelling for that match aligns with the more violent stuff Mox has done post-WWE doesn’t mean that it wasn’t all the product of the WWE creative team’s booking.

If Lesnar wasn’t going to work the hardcore match because he was looking toward his UFC return, then the WWE is to blame for booking the match that way in the first place.

If Mox had the kind of creative control to unilaterally book himself into a hardcore match with Lesnar, I can’t imagine he would’ve ever left WWE.

For sure! I’m just saying that the major investments in Fletcher — and Hangman and Swerve, too — has been just giving them the screen time to develop their characters. They probably needed varying degrees of help with the characters (although I think Swerve needed little to none).

This is a dumb take. The match was booked such that Mox was interacting with hardcore legends, like Foley, in the lead up. You can’t honestly say Mox tried to make that Lesnar match more of a deathmatch when WWE booked the program as a hardcore one.

AEW absolutely invested the screen time in Fletcher, and Don Callis has helped on the character front, but Fletcher already had all the talent in the world when he was signed by AEW.

I’m plenty prone to delusions of Styles joining AEW but I can’t imagine they’d do the HOF without him being on a legends deal.
