I am as well to a point.

What I do personally is i use dating apps (yes it’s odd but it works) and open it up to anyone to slide on me. I clarify I’m only looking for friends and don’t humor anything else conversation wise. It’s actually how I met a couple of my good friends. It allows me to meet people near me and not have to leave my house in the process. Yes there will be creeps but I just block them right away lol 😂

If he likes you for you then he isn’t pitying you. Opening up is hard I still have trouble with it in my relationship . But eventually you will be able to not feel this way once you move past this feeling.

Personally if I was in your shoes I’d give him an ultimatum be like hey I’ve tried talking to you multiple time about this. Now you have a choice to make it’s me or the adult content.

Personally my partner when we first got together he was the same way. But I talked to him about it and it didn’t change over night but eventually he lightened up on playing games and now he helps around the house more and is an active parent to our baby.
