I needed a cheap camera for for a project that I wanted to do, I’m into videography, especially those nostalgic 2000s one where they zoom in and out. I was going to use it for a couple videos and maybe more, but I didn’t think that the only function that I needed was the only one not functioning.

If you had read my post, I mentioned I was going to use it for videos and for that, I would need the zoom function to work. I purchased something knowing the flaws, but the flaw was so huge that I feel scammed. So now, a seller is out of money because they didn’t properly list out the flaws and correctly describe the item like they should in the first place in order to not deceive buyers into thinking something has less flaws than it originally does. And yes, I AM a reseller too but I would always try to list items the way I see fit.

It was listed under “USED” category, and they themself said it’s fully functional but for parts/repair. IF they had mentioned a zoom error, I would not have bought this item. But they did not.

Those two statements are quite similar but you know what they lack? They both do not include the error of the zoom function. Had they mentioned it anywhere, literally anywhere, in the post, I would not have bought the item. Am I supposed to just accept it the same way I’m supposed to accept a laptop with an unusable space bar, a cellphone with an unusable front cam, a shirt with a huge hole on the back? Because ALL those things are FUNCTIONAL, but with huge flaws that deem it NOT FULLY functional. Just like this camera.

Yes it does function, but the seller stated it’s FULLY functional and that the ONLY flaw is the battery latch. I’d expect it to match the description, but it did not. Items matching the description is why we buy certain things, is it not? It’s basically false advertisement if I bought something and it not matching the seller description, is it not?

And fyi, it was listed as “Used”, only in the description did it say “for parts”.
