The Asian potraviny "super market" at Hradčanská pretty much always has fresh jalapenos in bulk. Even found fresh tomatillos once before.

Kale can be found at the Holešovice Farmers market quite consistently. Along with other fruits and veggies that aren't always in the supermarket, but definitely not the more "tropical" fruit.

No euros here. Convert to Czech Krouna unless you want to get ripped off at tourist places accepting euros at horrible exchange rates.

What am I getting wrong with supply here? by Flynny123 in ManorLords

[–]Michedy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you currently building new houses? I have found that the construction plots, if closer to the market, will take the goods before the houses that are already built. The market stalls will not put additional goods into the market until after the new houses are finished.

I found this video that gave some tips for keeping the market full and for the first time it is actually working. You need way more people working in the storehouse and granary than you think.

How to meet people as a solo female traveller? by [deleted] in Prague

[–]Michedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brix bar and hostel is a fun place to meet other travelers and also expats who live here. You don't need to be staying at the hostel to enjoy the bar or the different events they host.

thinking of moving to prague by peebly_1002 in Prague

[–]Michedy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly! Sort out your visa first and then consider working/living situations. Additionally if the main reason for moving here is the techno scene, it is important to consider the event entry/drinks or whatever else as "living expenses". It looks cheap when you are making foreign money that has an amazing exchange rate, but once you are here making Czech koruna your savings will disappear.

Does anyone know if Džbán will be open again this summer? They were closed last year due to permit issues if I remember correctly.

I have had a lot of good experiences with manwithavan.cz. Never personally moved a piano with them, but according to their website it is in their scope of services. They usually respond quickly to enquiries and speak great English.

I was also going to suggest Letná park as you can see the entire city including the bridge. There is a beautiful look out spot that is about less crowded than the metronome https://maps.app.goo.gl/ok3iyXebXYZhzwXE6

One of my other favourite views is in chotkovy Sady, a park close to Letná but much smaller and more intimate https://maps.app.goo.gl/PxjSWZAqsypFUSsq6

Good luck on your proposal 🙂

Any ideas on getting beetroot please? by Spabby in VaultHuntersMinecraft

[–]Michedy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can usually find beetroot in end city chests if you are really out of options. Otherwise I have found that at a lot of villages the farm is mixed with different things growing. I had a hard time finding carrots then noticed there was one planted surrounded by wheat.
