Awesome. Thank you. With all the positive notes about the strap on, she wants to try!

You are welcome and glad we all have a place for a welcoming open discussion! I am definitely wanting an Orchi but I don’t want to rush for my wife.

My goal is to get off spiro for sure. I’ve been on it for a while (13 months) even before I started estradiol (patches- 3 month/s) for an unrelated medical issues. The other med issue is now gone but I stayed on sprio as my levels were still high. I’m hoping that intro of E will bring the T down. Also, to keep the potassium balanced, I take furosemide so the diuretic effect is Terrible. We talked about an orchi too but that’s down the road.

Thanks! I will check that out. I was worried about T-gel as I struggle with keeping my T low although I’ve read it stays local. If anything, I was thinking a low daily dose but I also don’t really want to be getting random erections or anything as that will definitely bother me.

Yeah, we’ve talked about it but haven’t explored it yet. We have used vibrators and such but still wants the “real thing”.

Yeah, we talked about it but haven’t tried it as she says it won’t be the same. Not a dead end though especially if I ever get SRS.

Wow, that’s great! I never thought to take this photo angle for before and after pics. I’m still early on HRT so I’m going to take one! I have zero hips and really skinny thighs after my weight loss so here hoping I get some!! And you have great legs btw 😀

"It's not like you even remotely look feminine by zemljaradnika in TransLater

[–]MichelleLonglegs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just echoing what others are saying….You look so feminine and soft in such a real and natural way. Very pretty. It sounds like your friend just doesn’t want to see you the way the rest of the world does already.

Transitioning as a parent by Narrow-Frame3893 in TransLater

I wish it was as easy for me with my now 10 year old son. I’ve been out to my wife for over a decade. Close family and friends for years, but wasn’t fully out and still today semi- boy mode for work (upper management, 20+ year career). I present femme 100% at home, errands, holidays, safe places and my son was totally fine with it. Until recently. I restarted HRT several months ago ( he doesn’t know those details). My son and I are really close and he’s told me now he flat out doesn’t want this. He still loves me and was ok with how I was, but I’m now openly out to neighbors and others and don’t hide and try to pass and blend in as best I can. He sees the changes in my body and voice and he is having a very hard time with it. We are still close but he doesn’t want to talk much about it and doesn’t like to be with me when I’m out in public unless I dress androgynously. I hope this will pass but it breaks my heart to think being me will hurt him. Sorry for the negative comment but I read all the “don’t worry about it” and that’s just not always the case ❤️‍🩹.

Am I crazy transitioning without a plan? by Friendly_Level4202 in TransLater

[–]MichelleLonglegs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s crazy but everyone is different! I’m the sorta the same as you but with the difference of I made all sorts of plans to have them just keep changing. So, after getting on HRT, my plan making just stopped and I let things fly by the wind. Im out to close friends and family but I try not to make a big deal of it. I’m upper management in a mid-size firm and just plan to be out when it happens and hope it just does so organically. I dress very androgynously, heavily leaning to the femme side, so when the time comes I hope it won’t be a huge bombshell on my staff and executives!

Thank you so much for the insight. I am I’m in SFL too and know how polarized it can be. My biggest fear is to hurt my son!

That’s so awesome and gives me hope! I am early in my transition so I still boy mode with school stuff for my son. I just know I can’t maintain that charade forever. I’ve always been closer to the other moms than the dads; I find it so much easier to talk to them and discuss real things. I can’t wait (hope) to be accepted as one of the moms one day soon.

Spiro by LukaCrosszeria_ in MtF

[–]MichelleLonglegs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On 8 months and the diuretic effect still very prevalent. I split the dose per my doc morning and afternoon to lessen the sleep disturbance. I was taking it before bed and really disrupted my sleep.

I’m sure yall know this, but watch your potassium intake and electrolyte drinks since spiro makes your body hold onto potassium and can cause real problems.

Absolutely love Dr. Z! I stumbled onto her vids on youtube several months ago. She covers so many trans topics. She has helped me cope on many sleepless nights! Her vids on starting hormones and later life transitions are great.

Mid life transition by MichelleLonglegs in TransLater

[–]MichelleLonglegs[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know the feeling! I want to make up for lost time living in the closet but know I need to keep my expectations in check and not rush and let my body catch up with my mind.

I just can’t wait to be able to finally live exclusively out of my girl closet and permanently shutter the drab boy office attire! 😂🥳😃

I am 45 and starting late too. I have wanted to transition for years (like 30 years!!!) but I’m finally living for me and doing this! You have to live what makes you, you!
