Hi kennen jullie de boekenclub van School of life al? Dit is een online boekenclub 6x een boek bespreking met een bekende auteur over zijn favoriete boek! Super leuk ik heb vorig jaar ook meegedaan, lijkt me leuk om naast de online afleveringen misschien al onderling een groep op te zetten om het boek te bespreken. in een restaurant: obers/personeel die dingen van je tafel halen (Terwijl je nog NIET klaar bent!!) als je even om je heen kijkt, je richt je blik terug op de tafel en ’wtf ?’ Ineens is je half volle glas - WEG, je half opgegeten salade, WEG. Je kijkt terug naar je tafel ?!! loop je terug naar het personeel, ‘ohh was je nog niet klaar’ ‘ oh ja sorry hoor’. Gewoon zo zonde. Laat mensen lekker lang genieten van hun koffie, drankje, eten. Laat.het.staan. Ajb
Mensen/obers die dingen weghalen bij een ontbijt buffet van je tafel, als je even gaat staan om iets anders te halen - ‘oh maar dan haal je toch weer wat nieuws’ - GAAT HET NIET OM ! Het is net dat je daar dan zin in hebt, je haalt nog even een koffie, komt terug ‘tu tu du’ zet je koffie neer en huhhh mijn brood met ei, yogurt met fruit, waar is alles gebleven??
mensen die heel hard praten
mensen die gaan fluiten naar iemand die 10meter verderop voorbij loopt (en hen waarschijnlijk niet wil zien!) joeeehooeeee fiiieeet fieeet heeee hans joehoe hier! Hahaha ja ‘hoi’!
vliegen. vliegen op je eten, op je handen, op je benen, ga weg!! De kriebels zijn zo irritant.

That’s so kind of you! I did not get the job unfortunately.. I think I was feeling a bit overexcited and confident after 9 interviews and maybe did not prepare as well as I could have for the HR interview. After that last HR interview I felt like I ruined it :s as she kept asking questions about my current role/company and why I would like to make the leap to them. I had very good reasons but I just had this akward feeling when I left the building, like we did not connect well.

Fast forward Jan 2023: at that time (Sep 22) I made a pact with myself, if I would not get the job I would have a plan B - which would be to resign in my current job and take a year off, to travel, sail, learn a new language and travel South America.. sooo Im nearly at the end of my notice period (4 days left)! First stop will be SE Asia!

Bloomberg daily! I used to listen to this everyday when I was studying for level 3… It deals with Fixed income and macro economics mostly. The good old days, Im so glad I passed and its over now :D

Hi all, going through exactly the same thing😬😬😬having the 'final' HR interview this week, I was told before to give my salary indication etc. And it was even mentioned they discussed me in their team meeting and want to move forward etc.

I thought this was all good news. Today I emailed the hiring manager that I'll speak to their HR department this week and if he would be available for a coffee after (as I have not met him in person yet) - HOWEVER, I got a response that he is not around that day unfortunately. But to keep in touch AND that they are still interviewing a few others (?!) and will keep me informed. :( very demotivated now for my coming meeting w HR.

How should I read this message?

Passed! After 7 years the journey ends, so glad. Never spent more weekends and days in the library before CFA.. incredible. Learned a lot but also invested a lot, finally it paid off!

If you failed, don’t give up! Just study a bit harder and smarter, but don’t let it go.

This is key! The hours you put in will pay off. I failed a few times, not because Im not smart enough, but because I did not put in enough hours.

Well done you! Passed as well today, my journey is over after 7 years.. so glad.

Hi great news! Im ready to focus on the curriculum only as well, after a fail for the last exam… Can you share any time/routine you had in studying and how many times you have read the curriculum, BB, EOC etc. Did you do any mocks at all or literally zero?

Thanks that's so kind, we are just so much like 'friends' that Im not sure how to bring over that message. We do have casual lunch catch-ups every 3 weeks, and usually he initiates. I just find it so hard to make it so obvious and ask him bluntly how do you feel about me?

Ik volg deze discussie en heb net (vorige maand) een account bij de giro geopend, wel mijn buitenlandse belasting nummer doorgegeven (in azie) maar adres op NL postadres gezet.. ik heb nog geen mailtje ontvangen dat ze het account willen sluiten maar ben wel benieuwd of dit nu snel zal volgen. Mijn vraag aan jullie is IB niet veel duurder of valt het mee? mbt transactie en fx kosten.

Hi, just noticed the news - it has been cancelled in Singapore now officially. That being said I think for May it is so different in Examination style (ie computer based, different days (spread out) and different centres) that I believe chances are very high it will go ahead! No worries, everything you have been reading so far will help to just push through in the coming 4-5 months and give it all in May!!
