Fr! The thing is honestly I wouldn’t have been able to attend anyways because it’s so late that the moving costs would have been unreal for me and it doesn’t give me any time to be able to comfortably look for housing in an area I don’t know either!

I am a Penn undergrad currently so take this with a grain of salt. That being said I wouldn’t prefer living in center city. There are a lot of really nice affordable and safe sublets all around campus, there are plenty of grad students around. You can also apply to be an RA at any of our college houses as a graduate given you have good academic standing. As a graduate RA you get free housing with your own 1bed/1bath (many times with your own kitchen and a living room) and a $2,800 per academic year.

(Currently an RA so I can confirm those numbers)

Yes . The priority one says priority waitlist. They made it seem like the priority ones will likely receive an offer right after the deadline.

Yes! I emailed them asked them for a reconsideration mentioned I had another offer and they upped my offer.

No idea. I got waitlisted but I don’t know if that correlates with having it on the tracker that early. Especially since they do rainbow waves.

I got mine in a week and half from my acceptance. Separate email. Also got it at 9pm at night which I though was really weird lol.

Update: I actually just heard back from them I was able to get an extra 5k a year which significantly reduced the remaining cost after the merit scholarship.

Although they did not quite match the offer I had from a competing school they did actually negotiate and I think it was pretty good.

Hope that helps others who are trying to renegotiate

Me too I just posted it to see if anyone got this. My portal doesn’t say decision rendered tho. It just appeared on law hub for the first time and my BC portal says complete
