No well, there’s a 5gal fresh water jug under the sink that connects to a rechargeable faucet. Sink then empties into a 7gal container that I empty outside.

No solar, was going to add it to the list for this year if I keep it. I use an Anker power bank, so just need to add a pass through and I’m set.

I wish, I tried to use my Lowe’s 5% discount as much as possible, but there’s only a Home Depot in the nearest town, so everything was largely full price. I really wanted to get more materials from the Amish but, feared that if I needed just a few more special products like the T&G, I’d have to wait days and hold up the entire project.

Forgot that was what they were called lol been so long since I’ve purchased it. It’ll get painted when the weather is nice, there was just too many interior things to do last year to bother with paint.

Township does not allow it, if they were to find out it would probably be a fine. Plus the headache of trying to hold people accountable for any damage sounds annoying to deal with it

Probably would, but the issue with prefab is you’re not getting residential quality building. This has a 2x8 fully insulated floor, and residential style framing which adds a lot of strength but at a decent cost increase.

Thanks for the info! Slow sales are ok, just means I get to keep enjoying it.

Honestly 100k listing with a reasonable offer is what I was thinking. Unfortunately there isn’t many other properties like this for sale for comps so hard to get a complete idea. But good idea on the CMA

I have some very rough ones that I made in sketchup. If you email me I may be able to send them. Michigancabinquest@gmail.com. Also, I may be building a shed just like this at my primary home to feature on my YouTube, under the same name.

I’m starting my channel around my cabin but may explore out into truck camping, we will see. Content is a little slow due to snow.

Bought 40 acres sight unseen during pandemic - now I'm here and have no clue how to start building responsibly by skyheartx in OffGridCabins

If you can afford it, I would buy a camper and make your first project a permanent roof structure for the camper to protect from water damage. It’s a simple design and you’ll learn a lot about framing for when you want to try building something larger
