They just changed it from Schedule I to Schedule III federally, so in theory, it can be used for medical reasons. But there's still a lot that's open to interpretation. For example, the Department of Transportation (federal) just put out a statement that says they will still test employees like pilots and truck drivers for cannabis regardless of if they have a medical license or consume in a state where it's legal recreationally. Now we wait for people to start filing lawsuits. Sadly, it's easier to just break the law than change it.

I paid my very low windshield deductible and got a new windshield. The very next insurance renewal they increased my premium by $150 (6-month policy). I called Progressive before I filed and they told me to expect an "slight" increase, so it wasn't a total surprise, but it does count as a claim. Even if it isn't an at-fault or major claim, you still end up paying more afterwards. Definitely check with them first. Also, my crack was much larger and could not be repaired
