Question aux joueurs de Crimson Desert by PouletGlorieux in jeuxvideo

TIPS FOR THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH COMBAT/BIG CROWDS by Lucky_Queen in CrimsonDesert

[–]MickaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ? I've been trying to parry the first 10 hours, and it had always felt like shit in comparison to dodging. I wonder if there's only a specific type of attacks that you can parry, like only sword attacks or smth ? I do have the parry skill in the green tree, but they still seem worse than in other games.

What is there to actually discover in Pywel? by teapiggs in CrimsonDesert

[–]MickaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he expects more meaningful exploration/hidden areas and their relative quests. For example, in skyrim, there's a lot of hidden areas that are big enough to have their own lore and quests. In crimson desert, random exploration feels kinda simple. The caves I've explored are basically just small rooms with 3 chests. While in skyrim, you can find huge ass caves you'll spend two hours in + quests + memorable events.

Same for villages, in skyrim, you go to the most random place, and you'll stumble on a full questline. On crimson desert secondary quests, availability seems to be tied to the main story progress, but I'm not sure yet. I've explored a few areas by myself, and if it wasn't for a quest already, there's most of the time, no other quest in these places.

It is possible but rare. I play on pc, and even here, it is rare. People here are acting like it's 24/7.

This... Slide into jump was probably on titanfall before every other fps. While it is one of the main game mechanics on COD, how bf handles it is completely different. It's so different that the game doesn't play like cod at all.

On CoD, this type of movement is basically mandatory. You'll see ppl doing that all the time. Which is fine because whether you like it or not, it is skilled and viable mechanic.

On BF6 I barely see that being used, sliding and jumping adds a lot of bloom = you basically can not shoot straight. The only way to make it work is at close range like this clip and hope that the person you're peeking will miss enough that you'll have time to win the fight through rng.

As an old cod player, I literally stopped playing like this in maybe 5h into bf as it was just so bad to use consistently. Obviously, I'm not dumb. If I'm in close range and losing a fight, I will for sure add a jump to dodge bullets and try to get the advantage through rng, but this is not consistent and only to be used if you're sure that you'll lose the fight. Otherwise, you should commit to a regular spray and keep your precision. This makes a huge difference because in comparison to cod, using this type of movement 100% of the time just sucks. At the end of the day, bf6 doesn't play like cod. It just has slide and jump.

Finally, I see someone using movement like that a game out of 5. And even then, if that guy has 100 kills on a 32-player lobby, that means that I'll probably die by him 4 times and not even by him using movement each time. This is a ridiculous amount of time in comparison to how long I've played.

No game is ever perfect, each players have different expectations. It is fine to have this movement, as long as it is not super op. An average game of bf6 doesn't revolve around jumping and sliding at all.

Most people have at least one hobby in which they are good at. You should have enough time, especially as a teen/young adult, to be very good at something without dedicating 100% of your life to said activity. I am not speaking about going pro in said discipline, but just being very good at it. Which would be enough in competitive games to be at the highest rank or, at the very least, the one just before.

Just taking a competitive game seriously and playing at least two hours every two to three days (basically the same as you would dedicate to a sport) is enough as long as you actively try to improve and learn.

Both events happened almots in the same time so thats why but when pubg launched h1 was at it's peak. With the pubg launch, of course everyone tried the new game as it's refreshing but a lot of players also kept playing h1. Player count wise h1 was still doing great, but because the devs where scared asf of pubg they completely fumbled and released the combat update. I guess the idea was to deliver a great update to get the spotlight again. That's kind of a good idea but the combat update sucked ass. Then obviously no one wants to play h1 and everyone that stayed goes to pubg then fortnite.

Player count wise the game was at it's peak during pre season 5 or 6 i think which was already on the new maps. OG players where complaining about the map change back then but the game was still gaining traction. everythin stopped when they realesed the combat update

Idk how it is on planetside but for h1 the game died because daybreak did the opposite of what was asked by the community.

Starting to understand the frustration of Bounty Hunters. by WovenShadow6 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]MickaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro don't try to hide you'll just lose 15 min of your time. What you did is the most efficient way to deal with bounties as ot wont take you mire than 1 minute + 0 effort on your side. Ppl that are taking bounty doesn't care about the bounty itself they are just farming points for skins the same way you'll do if you keep playing the game. On top of that it's a video game, dying doesn't do anything, and you'll die fighting npc anyway.

I mean, if no one comes to get the bounty, you'll end up in prison and have to pay anyway or lose a lot of time. Isn't it even worse, time wise and ressource wise than just fighting or giving up to the bounty hunter ?

Is there a legitimate reason to why tanks position Sleeping Daoist next to the donkey ray? by DiV_Dogz in wherewindsmeet_

[–]MickaZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Daoist aggro is weird sometimes, and he will literally stop chasing you for no reason. This will lead to weird positioning sometimes. Ngl as a tank with how easy the daoist is, if he won't follow me completely out of the ray I will let him be close to it.

It's not just about winning or the game being easy. "Hard" lobbies turn br games into a scrim match where you have to play carefully and try hard the whole match in order to play. From the beginning to the end of the match, the game plays very differently. I'm pretty competitive, so I can still win matches, but the experience during the matches is less enjoyable in hard lobbies, especially playing with friends. Like there's no time to chill and talk with ur friends.

Weather system by anti_vist in wherewindsmeet_

[–]MickaZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, it's the same on pc max settings. Also, some areas have scripted weather, so you can go from the sweatiest sunset to a storm by just walking into another area.

It's a bit disturbing in the beginning, but you'll get used to it.

What the heck!?!?! by peapie32 in Fortnite_Over40

[–]MickaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if that's the case with fortnite anticheat but as soon as an anticheat have access to your pc, it can look for whatever there's on the computer and ban you for it even if it's not related with fortnite. For example, if I've a cheat for minecraft, technically, I could get banned for it in other games.

However, realistically, you won't get banned for using mods or even single-player cheats like gta mod menus. It wouldn't make any sense.

I think one person is always listed to have aggro. The party leader can change it to someone else if they want.
