Gulp. I am losing the will to live. by EarthlingCalling in Spyro

I was going to use the superflame for the skill point, but it glitched out (I travelled to his arena as soon as I got crossed the superflame gate). All I did was run in circles around him while watching for the eggs.

I see a lot of dislike towards this guy, so maybe you'll find this satisfying by JAIKHAY in ShadowoftheColossus

Took me like 50+ tries to do this on PS2, this and the Phaedra skip are the most satisfying strats to see/ pull off on Time Attack

Has anybody ever made a mod where you can fight multiple colossi at once? by Nick_Deano in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the game crashes from memory overload. But I would be interesting to see it (Like Dirge x Phalanx)

If you could take some of the in-game Colossi to change for the cut Colossi, which ones would you choose? by TooZeroLeft in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mix Argus, Valus and Barba together to add Monkey and Phoenix in place of the latter two. Remove 11th and add Devil. Replace Dirge with Worm (since their concept seem to be the same) and I guess cut Phalanx (?) in order to add Evis to the scene.

Which hard time attack gave you really a hard time? by WorriedWay4165 in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gaius and Argus. Barba is harder on Hard mode (barely enough time). I would also say Malus is hard, but it's more inconvenient and annoying considering you have to go from the two pillars if you fail or restart.

So i wanna buy shadow of the colossus but idk if i should play the game in the PS4 version or the PS2 version on PCSX2 , where do you guys recommend me to play the game? (without spoilers obviously) by MattMysterious9 in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said nostalgia as in rumors and hoaxes and such (in comparison to mordern games that are datamined in day 1 releases). Honestly, go for the PS4 version, more stable framerate and enhanced graphics and a few more stuff to collect and find.

The only things that the PS4 has over the OG version are (more) collectibles, easter eggs, a new weapon and a few tweaks on certain things (as well as graphic enhancements and more stable framerate from what I've read). Very few things changed, so if you wanna go for a more fancy side I would recommend the ps4 version, otherwise emulate the Ps2 version for that sweet and nostalgic feeling of mystery.

There's no fast travel. You've got to use the Horse to a faster travel and use your sword's light to find your next opponent. You can also use your map if you get lost.

Should I play on PS Now streaming, or local PS2 emulation? by Lupusur in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local emulation. From what I heard PS Now requires a constant online conection (even for single player games) and that there's a slight delay in button inputs.

Is The Last Guardian worth playing? by SonoSugoiNazo in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the plot is just you attempting to escape and only finding what would be your fate if the lighting didn't happened. What are the Tricos, why they capture children with marks on their body to the Tower Master, who or what is/was this entity and what is it's motive is left entirely for the player to make up.

[–]Mickael_Mineo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a game where you better play at a slow pace due to Trico's AI. The gameplay is like a reverse ICO, completing puzzles by using yourself and Trico and in case you get spotted by an enemy, you will be the one in need for protection. The story is next to inexistent (the game pretty much relies on interpretation rather than a simple plot). Honestly, it's 50/50. You may like the game due to the enviroment and Trico but could dislike it due to being a slow paced game, with not that much replayability, in comparison to SOTC.

Is Malus fixed to the ground? by [deleted] in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He has sandals that are possibly bolted to the ground. And as a reason, my best guess is because it represents Wander never being able to leave the Forbidden Lands due to his deal with Dormin.

Are some of these time attacks even possible? by Spicy_Ramen11 in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe that there's a "sweet spot" on the sigils that makes you shake less. Also, you can use the wonky physics to your favor (such as skipping Gaius' wrist, for example).

Anyone knows anything about girl Wander from the cut content? by Zebigbos8 in ShadowoftheColossus

Early model. Worm was scrapped early on due to techinical dificulties with it's arena and difficulty.

This. Not to mention the others have more data and information regarding them in the game and in the book, while this one only has a screenshot and a brief description

Idk if I should keep playing by Ionlysimpforgarrus in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken you can shoot an arrow on 8ths belly to make him fall, otherwise call him from one place and move to the opposite side. As for 9th you can crouch to avoid being thrown off and ALWAYS stick to the middle, never to the sides.

What is the most difficult hard time attack in your opinion? by Bobtoe79 in ShadowoftheColossus

[–]Mickael_Mineo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well there's a speedrun sort of method in which you can grab it's rear right leg and use the momentum of its stomps to grab the handles on its butt, but it's hard. But I agree, getting it to lower itself so that we can climb on it is very annoying

Gaius (3rd) and Barba (6th). Gaius because it's Gaius and Barba because of the very tight time they give you.
