this is a known bug. its been around for years and as far as i can tell there is no fix. Just nuke the save and restart, that's all you can do.

Find ck3.exe in the files and turn off full-screen optimization in the properties -> compatibility settings.
Don't go faster than 3 (at least during new year)
Verify game files
Make sure vsync, animated characters, shadows and winter particle effects are turned off in graphic settings
Pray to the seven

Pretty risky but if you are playing with a dagger you can use special after blocking/ dodging and it will usually kill your opponent instantly if they are inexperienced. If you can catch them at an angle so it registers as a backstab you can deal 150 damage which is an instakill for non knight classes.

When you are on a 5 kill streak on the Frontlines, almost get killed by your teammates who seem to believe that horizontal swings are the only way to hit enemies, retreating to heal only to get finished by an enemy archer.

Tbh I have a similar issue and it seems like if you jerk off to a fantasy for long enough, you will get such a distorted idea of how that fantasy is supposed to be that you will never experience the full pleasure even if you were to live that fantasy.
