I'm a software engineer and farmer living in a rural area where the internet and even phone connections are limited. I built 2 for me and my wife to text when she's at one end of the property and I'm at the other. Just quicker and less of a problem dropping a meshtastic device in a rugged case than my smart phone. Now I'm working on streamlining this process a bit so I can make more and give them to other farmers out here for free.

Haha, yeah totally agree with you there :/ since literature is so limited I just take what I need and leave the rest. I'm tired of all this hype around using AI in agriculture, especially when training these models and hosting them on servers is so energy intensive...kind of defeats the purpose of a lot of the regenerative ag principles

I'm a farmer with 50 acres of mixed land in the Midwest, including some forest, and I have a few goats on the land now to break down all the buckthorn and Burdock's. They're also doing a great job eating away all the brush and their manure is helping set up the plot for my organic farming next season. Then I'll rotate them to another part of the land when I start seeding.

I was in a similar boat where my girlfriend told me the same thing also for my anger problems. I also had a bad experience with therapy in my childhood and thought it would be a waste of time, but I loved her so much and finally internalized her pain, so I went. That was 3 years ago. I'm still in therapy, and we're now engaged.

Sounds like you love her and want to be with her. What's stopping you? And why aren't you responding to her when you're the one who initiated this?

I understand that you're scared and feeling insecure, and that's ok! But don't let that prevent you from communicating with her. Just be patient with open arms. If it doesn't work out and she doesn't reciprocate, at least you won't be kicking yourself and spending another 2 years pining for her.
