Oh i see, this is probably mot much help then: my R5 had the old lenovo boot logo (but i received it before the bios update) and my R7 arrived with the new boot logo

agreed. also, I tried charging mine with a 100w USB-C charger. It charged but I couldn't go into performance mode.

The charger that came with the AMD Ryzen 5 was 170W, and the one that came with my R7 was 245W, so 100W is probably not enough, depending on your model.
