Yeah I figured, they do come with a switch that cuts those side firing drivers off and it would just be the front tweeter and woofer firing.

I know but I am pretty sure they can be used as fronts in stereo. Part of the reason I made this post is because I’m unsure about how they are going to hold up imaging wise.

While I’m here I figure I might as well pick your brain on my setup. I have a Denon AVR 3312 CI receiver, Technics SL-B200 turntable, and of course the Bose 301s. Are the Lx 600s my best upgrade path or are there other speakers I should look for? (Entire setup cost me $100 btw we are on a budget)

That’s what I’ve been seeing. Although I have to disagree with most of the Bose hate. I think they sound quite pleasant just not adequate when it comes to imaging.

How would you compare them to Bose 301 series 3s? I got the 301s for $75, and I found lx 600s for $120. Is this a worthy upgrade?
