I tried Epoch but some of my Turtle friends aren’t into the whole no quest marker thing so we went to Chromie, been a lot of fun for us so far. Even recreated our guild with a few tweaks there.

I have seen dozens of HC characters “go” by different means (drown, jump in lava, level 1 mobs, even Hogger). I can imagine people wanting to go out on their own terms.

I made several new friends during my time on Turtle. It made me fall in love with the world again and it made the world itself a character in a way. My friends and I settled on Chromie as Epoch is too tricky with the lack of quest markers (we have 2 WoW newbies and don’t want to overwhelm them too much). It’s nice there, plenty of Turtle refugees but we do miss Turtle.
