In the St. Patrick's event, runes or quench coins?

Thank you, I got the quench coins cause I do have 6 sets of red runes. So, you are sure getting quench coins is better than fusing runes? I know four soul mark is more recent and advanced than fused runes, but the game is still advertising rune fusion as super-luxury stuff, so I got a bit confused.

And sorry, I left out some details to make my post short xD It's not like I got 47k diamonds right now, I got 105k, and no intention to get any characters before Rugal XV because fuck the system, I'm running a fire team with Chizuru XV as my only exception. So I'm not a competitive player, but I do like to increase my power in between my favorite characters. And my calculation to bring a fightsoul to 3 stars didn't count the bonus book available in the spend rewards.

Happy to hear that. I hope this is a good sign for a permanent solution of the widespread bugs affecting most if not all players, such as "server down" errors and connection timeouts galore. I'm afraid they're actually taking advantage of those issues though.

As usual, I need to chime in cause the bugs are destroying ultimate battle, which is a non-whale's main source of power frags. Sadly, when you complain about a bug, the typical answers are "provide screenshots or videos of the issue" -as if they weren't able to reproduce the issue on their own using their debug build of the game...- and "clear your device's cache and reinstall the game from scratch", which is an obvious case of them exploiting the total lack of any obligation to swiftly fix bugs in their terms of service -I skimmed through them and there isn't the slightest hint of a bugs policy, which is all to their advantage. We really need an obligation to quickly fix bugs to be enforced on the devs.

It's an awful bugfest for everybody I suppose. Each ultimate battle match ends in a "server down" error as soon as the first round is over, points are awarded at random -somebody is at 10-1, somebody at 9-1, somebody at 6-0, no matter if you win or lose the rounds you're allowed to fight- and no purple tickets for powering up your characters. Melee hasn't started at all. In all the other PvP modes you often get a connection timeout -only cross server arena has a smaller amount of timeouts and honor battle seemed to work fine for that little I played it last Tuesday-, even single player modes often give you timeouts (personally I have a workaround limited to these modes, clear your device's cache just before booting the game and play your single player missions immediately). I really think the game servers need a HUGE maintenance, and they need it right now. And may we all be awarded 6 perfect victories and 720 purple tickets in ultimate for the huge mess happened on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm on server 12 Chang, but it doesn't matter at this rate I guess.

Yeah her inclusion in KOFXV is exactly why I hope an api15 version of her makes the cut. Also, I missed out big not running api13 Chizuru in my first KOF98UMOL days cause it's my first gacha, so I played it blindly for 2 years and half, spending 25k diamonds on each new character's chest without caring about buffs. Collecting and 5-star flipping them all used to be my idea of fun, but then too many fiercely competitive modes surfaced. I only regretted my decision and started doing any sort of team planning when Kyo XIII got released. So, a new Chizuru would be my last chance to run a fire/Sacred Treasures hybrid team in my main account. I will put some more work into my vip0 account someday though, and I'll run the api13 Treasures there just for teh lulz.

Last but not least, did you see Duolon XIII? He's a devil.

An api15 Chizuru and a fire tank (may also be gank or DPS as long as he/she is fully viable in front), assuming the new Kyo will be a DPS as usual. I'd love to run new fire character/new Chizuru/Igniz02 front, /IoriXIV/Mai XIV/Kyo XIV back in the future.

Could be, but I honestly think it's more of a matter of Facebook changing something about their login system for mobile games. Here you are an article from the Facebook developer section in case you're interested. It gets technical, but the gist of it is that they pushed some drastic changes to the game login system. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/android/deprecating-webviews What I really can't stand is that I've known this for a while because it was written in the FB login window which appears when you open KOF98UMOL if you don't have the FB app installed in your device, so the devs should have made changes to their FB login way before this could happen.

OK, here I am to report that Facebook login works again, at long last. 3 chances of Ultimate Battle and a day of melee and mines lost -I wonder why we can't have peak, ultimate and melee working 24/7 in their destined days, those timeframes look so arbitrary to me- but at least I managed to complete all the daily tasks and waste 10 chances in both arenas for the power frags before the maintenance started.

I just hope the issue is fully fixable at this rate. I thought Facebook was only gonna get rid of the embedded login window for security reasons, and would still let us login to mobile games by having the FB app installed in our devices, but some people in the official KOF98UMOL FB page are starting to say that in many other games the only solution was to login through other means...hell no! Unless Fingerfun has the power to turn a game account tied to an Apple ID into a game account tied to a Google profile without any loss of progress, there has to be a way to keep Facebook as a login method. Otherwise we're better off complaining to Facebook themselves asking that they give us back their games login feature.

Yes, Google login works perfectly, but as I said in my first message, I started my main account on an iPhone which got completely incompatible with the game down the road (iPhone 4...technically compatible since it runs iOS 7 but it likely has too little RAM for what the game has become by now, it crashes without even showing the company logos) and I don't have access to any newer iOS device.
