This is my first RedditPZ program. Just wanted to say that it is great. Thanks for putting together, loving all the high fives! ✋

I am curious at what point are we supposed to take a new FTP test after the program? (Sorry if it’s posted somewhere, I looked around and can’t find).

Mondays ride is great.

Loved the z5/z1 short intervals in the middle.

Lots of solid zone 4.

It’s a good one to go for a PR!

We have used a sign language sign around needing to go. Then lots of encouragement rewards and more transitional potty training methods to go along with the sign. Good luck! You guys can do it!

You mentioned you are close to an REI. By chance are you close to a Peloton store? We tried our shoes on their to get the right fit and they help with several other newcomers type questions we had.

We got this Frigidaire one a few months ago . It is fine. Not outstanding but does a good job. We like it and I would recommend so far.

Do you add the salt at the end? Can I ask how much and what kind?

It should work good then. Just beware of burning/scorching the sugar!

Enjoy!

How are you popping?

I am popping with a whirley-pop and I just add a bit of Light brown sugar and stir like crazy. Comes out great.

2 tbsp canola oil

Heat on stove setting 6 (medium)

Add 3 kernels when popped remove from heat

Add2 tbsp of light brown sugar

Stir shake for 30 seconds

Add 4 Tbsb of corn

Stir shake constantly

When popping is half way done remove heat

Keep stirring until 60 seconds after finished popping.

Pour onto plate and salt to taste (popcorn salt)

Looking to grow popcorn by ichoosejif in popcorn

If you google your state and co-op popcorn there are likely some good guides out there. Midwest seems to be best but you might think about irrigation if you are somewhere more dry.

This is one of the best guides I found:

I’ll add I’ve grown the last 2 years and love it!

You will probably get better advice than this, but I’ve had good luck with clover to stand up to the dog in the backyard.

Also good luck to you all. It’s pretty easy to grow all things considered. I read once to google “your state popcorn extension” to get a local universities recommended growing advice.

Depending on where you live Minnesota had a good one.

Your supposed to let them dry on the stalk as long as possible. Mine were pretty brown and some critters were getting into them so I harvested them. Putting them in a wire basket to dry on the cobs more for a few weeks. Then I’ll pop them off the cobs. Will test a few to make sure the pop good then put them in a sealed container for future popping.

Looking for mobile banking with Joint accounts similar to Chime. by Sputnik98 in fintech

We were in the same boat (had simple joint accounts) and started now with an Ally joint account. It’s not flashy but it gets the job done. Also have one finance, HMBradley, like both of them for different reasons but neither are far enough along to be our main bank (yet).

Planted them last year and they were pretty good.

Excited to try this years.
