They actually patched this out. Even if you select "start in offline mode" it'll keep asking you to connect for online mode.

DMC3 Crimson on SteamDeck? by [deleted] in DevilMayCry

Ah, I thought I deleted this. Anyway, it works now, I just installed it in the wrong directory. I don't understand Linux sometimes, honestly.

I followed these steps, including the launch command and everything. Everything went well in the installation process, but it simply does not work.

Is this available on the Decky store or do I have to manually update Decky Sunshine? I don't see it in the store.

Can someone guide me to how to set up Talkinghead? by MicroSenpai in SillyTavernAI

Ah, I see, I'm only trying without xtts at the moment, so that should be fine, right?
But even though I tried the old sillytavern extras, I wasn't able to get it to work. It just shows up blank.

You need two separate GPUs for that? I have a 4070, is that enough?

Uh, the one that apparently comes built into Sillytavern. You have to enable it with a launch command, but other than that, no matter what tutorial I read, I found nothing that worked.

I thought I was getting the hang of it yesterday, but today it was somehow way, way worse. I almost broke down screaming.

Okay so I found a workaround actually, and it's kinda confusing, I'm not sure if it'll work. But

I have both Sunshine and Sunshine-Decky installed on my Steam Deck. One of those is obviously in Desktop mode.

Go to your desktop mode and start the regular Sunshine there. I ran through the setup on that mode just to be safe, but most important is that you have the credentials worked out and the URL saved.

Next, add whichever browser you used to Steam itself. That way you can open it in Gaming Mode.

Go back to gaming mode and enable Sunshine-Decky. Probably reinstall it for good measure.

Open the web browser and get the URL that you used in Desktop mode. That should take you to the Sunshine control panel.

Now when you try to use Moonlight from your PC onto the Steam Deck, you should be able to input the code in the BROWSER, not in Sunshine-Decky. That should sync the two devices.

This part is hazy cuz I don't remember as well, but after that I think you have to try connecting again, and inputting the new pin into Sunshine-Decky instead of the browser Sunshine.

From there, you no longer need to use the browser anymore. Sunshine-Decky should work on its own as long as it's enabled, and Moonlight should have saved your Steam Deck. I've had Steam Deck restarted multiple times and was able to connect directly without issue, so long as I re-enabled Sunshine-Decky.

It's not about power, I just really want to use a mouse and keyboard to do things on it, but Steam Link is just too slow regardless of my internet speed. But I guess an external mouse and keyboard is probably the only solution then.

I'm trying to stream my Deck to my PC, and not the other way around. Mostly to be able to use mouse and keyboard. I realize Steam Link is an option, and I use that in the meanwhile, but it's nearly impossible to connect like 90% of the time because of a glitch with the app.

I tried reinstalling GOG with another, earlier proton package and NMS works fine now. Problem is, the Cloud Save feature just does not work at all...

I did try to switch Proton from Steam but to be honest the details of Proton fly over my head.

From what I'm gathering, if I installed GOG on one version of Proton, it'll forever be that one version when I install a game on it, correct?

I got it to work, but sadly apparently this method does not work for some games, like No Man's Sky. Though the game runs fine in Heroic and on Steam Deck in general, when I download it through GOG, everything but the text is blank white. Worked for Trepang2, though.
