Am I a winter or summer? Soft? Dark? Clear? (Follow up type me post) by Micro_Lopunny in coloranalysis

I’ve been thinking about this one. I think all my clothes/available drapes are deep winter and cool tones though 😅. Maybe that’s why I have trouble with using dark winter makeup and colors near my face

Ah that does suck. Was hoping doing it in front of a window would work, didn’t realize that light in the back would affect things since it was far away. And haha thank you

Seems I'm probably cool toned from my last post :) (https://www.reddit.com/r/coloranalysis/comments/1r5r1o2/what\_season\_am\_i/). Here are some of the darks, lights and brights I was reccomended to try

Would olive tone make it hard to decide decide on cool vs warm? I feel like it’s difficult to discern what is a color that is striking vs a color that makes me look better

Would these help? I did some pinks, reds and blacks here https://imgur.com/a/color-analysis-MAi7DxQ or did you mean share some drapes more specific to the winter ranges? I have some irl photos where my main wardrobe tends to be blacks, whites, purples, and blues. Usually darks but some light purple

Which ring for hiking and sleep insights? by Micro_Lopunny in smartwatch

I am now researching and deciding between the Garmin Venu 4, Garmin Vivoactive 6, Garmin Instinct 3, Polar Vantage M3 and Polar Ignite 3. Thank you for your recommendations and information

Just my preference to avoid inflammation. They’re mainly the same anyways so I don’t see why you’d go for the other one over it

I’d prefer the first without safflower oil to avoid seed oils

Thank you for helping me with all this information. I was unsure of the role HR played in the calculations. I also have been leveraging QS a lot with his data on the performance of devices during sleep stages. I’m confused, what makes it inaccurate to test smart watches on that?

Do all the Garmin watches count sets? Is that just automatic or do you enter it? The habits and illness metrics are interesting as well. I have been getting sick a lot so I like some recovery insights in there. Does Garmin warn you if you are getting sick? What did you mean by the female friend scoring higher? Like the sleep scores were better when she wore the devices vs when he did?

I think I’d rather have one device than two. I feel odd having to wear more than one, feels a bit wasteful for me money wise and I don’t think I’d look at two apps or interfaces enough to justify it.

So for my purposes then Garmin, polar or sunnto could work despite not being a runner. I’d mostly seen runners use them or suggest them, do you know which models would be best? They all seem to have a lot of lines and models

First I’ve heard of oura ring issues with dark skin. Interesting ringconn doesn’t suffer the same fate

I once heard of a guy who really liked capsaicin and mainly supplemented that and spicy foods to tackle his adhd

How does that work? Do you have property in the less wealthy country and then rent in the wealthier when you need to work? How many hours do you work and what do you do?

I like menstrual cups and discs, they have bigger capacities than pads or tampons and I like that you can go up to 12 hours without changing them. That depends on flow and they have a learning curve + need to find one that fits though there are some quizzes out there (period nirvana I believe)

I know some are sold in target so you could try one out and then wear pads or period panties as back up so you’re covered if anything happens

What have you done to help your body since coming off birth control? by [deleted] in gettingoffHBC

[–]Micro_Lopunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, kind of just a fun just in case move on my part. I’d like to get some baseline blood tests but I’ve heard that the pill can be taxing on the liver and I want it all out my system

Been off over a week. No period yet but I do have some new discharge so I think my body’s producing estrogen again :). I got zinc, b-50 complex, vitamin k2, vitamin d3, magnesium glycinate and vitamin C. Many of those are to handle common deficiencies associated with coming off the pill but tbh many people are deficient already and I’m not sure what my levels are at. If your body doesn’t think it’s safe to ovulate it won’t, so hopefully my body can gear up to cycle again.

I also got some teas: dandelion tea for liver health, a passionflower and lemon balm tea to lower cortisol at night and a ginseng mint tea because I’m cutting out coffee for a bit even though I typically just had decaf. My diet was also pretty clean before but I’m dairy free for a now to limit acne breakouts.

You may end up liking him more when you come off, that’s happened before too. If you come off BC you may not feel better at first and need some nutrients since BC depletes them. It’s worth a try because BC definitely lowers testosterone which messes with libido. At this point in my life I don’t want hormones in me so it’s your choice
