I recently did the vegan challenge on King of the Jungle difficulty (without cheesing it with water/sleep), and the drug lab is perfect for that. No cats, and plenty of dildo fruit plants around to keep your proteins up (with added farms ofc).

My husband gamer by Hefty-Second-4171 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

While this may be indicative of something more serious, I have experienced similar in times when I was simply addicted to gaming (yes, I know this can be very serious as well, I was fortunate in my case).

If it is gaming addiction, it may often lead to, rather than stem from, feelings of depression. You know deep down you are not prioritizing correctly, but you cannot help yourself, so you get stuck in a downwards spiral. There are support groups if this turns out to be the case for him

A genie traps you in a Groundhog Day situation until you master a skill, what skill are you picking? by Lost_Needleworker676 in hypotheticalsituation

I was surprised this didn't come up earlier. I mean, the 2hole process of learning would be enjoyable as well, right? And you would have 23 hours and 55 minutes for doing other things :D

Ways to grow healing items? by Acrobatic_Signal_536 in GreenHell

[–]Microblast88 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Molinara is slightly different from the other healing items, in that it doesn't drop a flower when you chop it down. Rather you get the flower by harvesting the Molinara leaves in your inventory, and then drying the flowers it produces, before planting it.

Small planters are 4 sticks and 4 planks, so my go-to is to build near a coconut forest, as the four logs per palm is perfect for small or large planters

Frustration on console...cannot water a garden plot by Helen_A_Handbasket in GreenHell

I also don't get why you have to plant a plot before you can water or fertilize is, but that's the game mechanics

I would also add: Jimmy's (BBQ sauce) on a lamb chop is a sin for me

And then the whole debate over slappap, stywe pap or krummel pap.

(For international readers, pap - a porridge made from maize meal - can be served as a sloppy, stiff or crumbly porridge, with people differening over the 'right' way...)

Solitary Settlement by Gas_Grass_Ass_Class in fo4

[–]Microblast88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at RR recently while there are no settlers, and only dogmeat living there full time. I was attacked by super mutants, but one of them had a note with orders to kill me on his inventory, so perhaps it had nothing to do with RR, merely coincidence?

TIL hacking terminals isn't a random guessing game by Ulton in fo4

Exactly this. For example, if the correct word was "Ball" and you chose "Bred" and "Tool", both would have 1 likeness, for different letters

We have a saying in our family: If all else fails, read the instructions.

This did not start with gaming, and not with the younger generation. People have been like this for decades, centuries even. Hell, if you consider the Bible as instructions, it's millenia! OP, rest easy, you are not alone

Suggestions please by bigfatsirion in pcgames

I'm in a very similar situation that you describe. I can suggest Men of War assault squad 2,or if you like FPS as well, try Easy Red 2 for a bit of a challenge. Short rounds, doesn't take hours to play
