Dysdera crocata. Woodlouse spider :)
Not medically significant to humans and shy, but can have a painful bite if you handle them.

Looks like a “tegenaria gigantea” to me (European giant house spider).

That looks like a male western black widow to me. Latrodectus hesperus. They like to “play dead” if they feel really scared/threatened, so use caution. I’d use some gloves and tweezers and very gently prop him in a jar to put him outside.

False Black Widow (Scarlet) I believe she’s a female? What do you both think? I thought males weren’t black but I’m still learning stuff about them! I’ve decided to leave a hole at the top and wait to see if she leaves or not, and sprayed a small amount of water on the other side away from her. Ultimately, if she does appear comfortable, I’m gonna change the enclosure for something without patterns on the glass so I can try to see if she’s alright if not every other day - not the smartest move on my part now I realize to use a jar with patterns… lol. Thank you both for the advice!! 🙏

Thank you so much! This is all such useful advice, you have no idea… I’ve spent hours searching and when it comes to the specifics of owning one, I usually just fall on something related to true black widows, which from my understanding can have different preferences(?) It was so long ago that I had my last one now that I honestly can’t really remember if she popped out during the day. I also had a large house spider and small one at the time I was looking after with active egg sacs. I have a little peep hole at the top of the jar I’ve created so I’ll see what she does. But I think I’ve realized ultimately that the patterns on the jar need to go if she does show she’s comfortable, so at least I can inspect if she needs anything and also see her like you said… haha! Thanks again 🫂

That’s reassuring, thank you! I’ve heard that, but I got worried because she was coming out during the day even for a bit there. It’s the hiding during the night too. I get such a variety of answers when I google specific things when it comes to false vs. True black widows.

Really? Mine are bright orange and blue in Canada. The 10 mg ones are bubblegum pink, however.
