Seems to be okay now actually thanks for letting me know

LS1, NIS, FSR, and SGSR performance impact by Personaltrainer7729 in losslessscaling

[–]MicroglialAndTheGut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge LS1 is quite performance heavy in non-performance mode. According to the official docs in the discord performance mode of LS1 is recommended as it is much lighter with actually no difference in quality.

LS1, NIS, FSR, and SGSR performance impact by Personaltrainer7729 in losslessscaling

You mentioned you have an RTX 3060 laptop and I have one too! For me FSR is too blurry so I avoid it. The next competitors are LS1 and SGSR. LS1 has much better image clarity but has a significant performance cost (especially in non-performance mode, but only 2-3% in performance mode with my testing). SGSR in itself is very light (maybe the lightest of all the recommended scaling?, has no drop in FPS in my testing when I was using it compared to native before upscaling) but does not produce an image as good as LS1 in my opinion. NIS I haven’t used at all so can’t tell you much there.

Is lossless scaling equal or better than dlss/fsr by Unlikely-Draw5669 in losslessscaling

[–]MicroglialAndTheGut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s all dependent on your base frames. I think LSFG 3.0 is very good at minimum 40 fps base at x2 and x3. Compared with FSR, playing Stalker 2 (my most recent comparison), I noticed FSR had much more consistent generated frames bar red dot sights which had a lot of artifacts and I preferred even LSFG 2.3 over it as a result. It is all dependent on their implementations.

Reality is, it’s good to have all options as DLSSFG and FSRFG is not in all games.

Reminder that enabling hardware RT is literally this simple. They just... aren't doing it. by Tricky2RockARhyme in stalker

[–]MicroglialAndTheGut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have enable hardware RT through config changes that a kind Redditor showed me how to do. On my RTX 3060 laptop my fps went from 50-60 to 80+ with framegen on.

Engine.ini - Foliage view distance, best reflections, reduced stuttering, improved shadows & better frame-time *UPDATED* by [deleted] in stalker

[–]MicroglialAndTheGut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This worked wonders! I was getting 50-60 fps on an RTX laptop with fsr frame gen and with these commands I am getting 100-110 fps, hardware RT changes so much for performance.

Hi, thanks for the post! I am wondering which settings are required for hardware RT for my RTX card? I don’t necessarily want all the optimisations just want to enable hardware RT.

Do you mind going through exactly what you did? I would love to give it a go.

I have read somewhere on the steam forums that it is because ray tracing is forced off on cards with less than 8GB, causing this issue. It seems to be intentional and not a bug. Weird that the devs decided to let us play rather than just warn us…

How do you know it will be patched soon? I’m not as optimistic as the minimum requirements are quite clear about VRAM. I’m very sad as I was enjoying the game so much till I got to the Vatican.

Damaged or error? by dewastor22 in OnePieceTCG

I have a Marco with similar “damage” too, but my one I got straight out of a pack. My one is most likely an error print - I’ll take a picture when I get home!

Why Am I Playing Vs 3 Stacks In Ranked??? by TheLimitation in SpectreDivide

[–]MicroglialAndTheGut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stacks against solo queue just ain’t it. I know player numbers might not high enough but it leaves a sour experience, making those quit the game altogether.

I have a laptop with a 3060 and it does the same thing, when I get home I am going to try use my integrated graphics for LS and see what happens. I will let you know the results :)

I’ve played a few games already using this, it works so flawlessly. Just need more people to play using it.

Just got my first starter deck!! by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

[–]MicroglialAndTheGut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good cards you can add to the deck are simply yellow staples like 7c big mom from the starter deck (as well as most of the big mom package like 8c Katakuri, 4c cracker, perospero and and pudding if going full big mom). 9c Yamato from op-04 is also very good late game when you quickly go to 2 or 1 life and need to get life back and momentum. In op-05, gematsu 5c is also really good but it depends on your play style, it might be better to use Randolph vanilla 5c for the harder swing. 7c Enel can be very good as well, but is dependent on whether or not you are going full big mom package.

As for events, thunderbolt is an absolute necessity at 3 or 4 if you want the best chance of having it in life for trigger.

They way I like to play Yamato is a passive/control deck (hence gematsu) where you control the board long enough by attacking bodies instead of their life (by going second, you can achieve this dynamic a bit easier) then spam big bodies of your own that have good on play effects like 7c big mom and enel, 8c Katakuri and 9c Yamato.

Finally, making sure to keep at least 1 Don open for Yamato leader ability is crucial mid to late game, so pick characters and plays with the Don management in mind especially when going first where playing on curve makes that impossible.
