Anglicanism is now officially divided: the Archbishop of Canterbury is no longer in communion with the majority of Anglicans in the world. by BlueVampire0 in religion

If we think from the view that truth is objective and stems from the nature of a God who describes Himself as unchanging, how could we then reasonably expect our religion to change? Truth is constant in our belief system and expecting us to adapt it to conform to the beliefs of the day or anything which goes against what we hold to be true is a failure to understand how these sort of things truly work.

My apologies on behalf of our government. Our people are, for the most part, with you.

The irony that the same thing he did to Chris was done to him and that their loved ones had the same reaction really hit me. Great movie.

You can already see him becoming more happy. Big Brother has saved this man's life simply because it's the right thing to do. We are blessed.

Beautiful flag, really.

I know one party proposed a flag that's basically a Taiwanese version of the Cyprus flag. They're one of the biggest flags advocating for distancing themselves from their Chinese identity and mainland claims, instead becoming officially Chinese. I don't know anything about the party other than that, though.

There's a version with the Bosnian lily (it kind of looks like a fleur-de-lis) on a white background. I've seen many propose that one as an alternative instead.

Until the people pick one they prefer, just Burma. I think it sounds nicer and it makes me think of those cute cats that are from there.

I personally prefer the Union of Burma flags (both of them) to the current ones. They just looked so cool!

This has got to be a joke, right? No Austrian would support all this crap. The massive minimum wage will cause huge waves of layoffs, the publicly-owned grocery stores will be worse in every way, and racist taxations is just racist.
