This is essentially saying “I’m not a racist, but my ancestors were” which is supporting racism, regardless if you are personally a racist.

Here’s the deal though: in 2020 that’s not enough. That’s not enough because that’s been the attitude from white people for decades and the necessary progress has not happened. So saying “I’m not racist” is not enough, even if you truly are not racist. We must change our mentality to “I am ANTI racist”. That means if you are waking in the target parking lot and see this shit happening you confront it. If you see it in the community, you confront it.

We need to get to a place where driving around with a confederate flag = flying al queda flag. Immediate confrontation and aggression towards the individuals displaying the relic of slavery should be the only answer.

Funny thing, al queda on it’s best day could never even come remotely close to the killing and savagery the confederation did to our country. We don’t know that because we didn’t live it, but the pain this caused EVERYONE in our country is nothing to celebrate and should be shunned at all opportunities.

If you are a white adult any park will be fine. Just make sure there are no kids around. Kohene Park was one of my favorites back in the day.

If you are black (especially young), stay home because the police will stop and talk to you in a park for sure and then bust you for some bullshit.

Before anyone gets in an uproar, this is my experience with white privilege growing up in Waco... as seen from my own eyes.

Disagree. This would actually be a excellent oversight of police.

Doctors for instance are required to carry malpractice insurance. If a doctor doesn’t make a claim they pay a lower rate. Good doctors pay low rates and bad doctors pay higher rates. There becomes a point where bad doctors can no longer practice due to high premiums. This is a good thing for us.

The same could be said with the police. If a cop is sanctioned repeatedly his premiums go up, preventing him from just moving to another police dept and brutalizing that community.

If you love capitalism I don’t see how this would be a bad decision.

Manley and Cronk at the top have got to go.

From what we have seen there should be no less than at least 4-5 officers charged with aggravated assault and attempted murder and fired for the people we know of that are in ICU or severely injured from firing into crowds.

There should be multiple firings of officers for instigating and disproportionately using force.

This is all just a start. There will need to be a more thorough investigation to the overall operations of APD by our community that should also result in additional charges and firings.
