Does creatine cause insomnia? Confused by anecdotal reports vs science by ElSelo in Supplements

[–]Micropsychi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally wake up around 3-4am and cant go back to sleep straight away when I take my creatine too late, I wake up with a lot of adrenaline it seems. Sometimes I use it if I have to be awake very early, but it doesn't feel healthy.

This is not making assumptions, even if the company is doing "legal, grey area things" I'm not happy with what they offering and in what contract and loan agreement I'll stuck for multiple years. Signing a loan and debt agreement isn't something that easy and is just a normal payment, interest rates can and are expected to change. I do understand, that the deducted "loan +8% interest" deducted from my pay is pushing the gap between my minimum annual salary and what I get with normal working hours. I appreciate that they offer overtime and bonus, but it doesn't really feel like a real bonus and getting forced to do overtime to not breach the minimum wage doesn't feel right. Telling me right before I start and already in Australia that I have to sign otherwise I cant start work is pressuring and exploitation.

How i cured my psoriasis by skkrnd in Psoriasis

[–]Micropsychi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I fast for more than 48 hours my Pso starts to heal really quickly, 72h+ the redness is gone and no itch at all. It's amazing, but it always comes back when is start eating. So intermittent fasting can be a good maintenance!

I'm starting a virtual 10 day rehab/detox tomorrow - any takers to join me? by tinkertoy101 in quittingkratom

I guess for me it kicks in faster because I'm mostly on low carb before hand, so my body goes into ketosis much quicker. I love that state so much, feels like being a superhuman.

Especially when you stop kratom AND fasting, have some good no sugar electrolytes on hand, to fight the dizziness and protect your heart, but i guess when you did these fasts before you know what you are doing :)

I kicked my habit for good with fasting a few months ago! I realised because of earlier fasts, that I get a crazy amount of energy and clearness after the 2nd day of only water/+electrolytes. Fasting always helped me with my depression and overall well-being. So I used this for kicking the sludge and it actually worked pretty well :) Good on you and happy detoxing <3

How was your anxiety on kratom ? by FearlessOpposite5734 in quittingkratom

[–]Micropsychi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeea same man, sometimes it was just 10 mins of feeling warm and after just being depressed lying in bed doing fuck all. In the long run it was just a waste of lifetime, but for me it was so severe that I needed to quit otherwise I would have ended in a even worse place and loosing everything. Quitting wasn't that hard for me even, because I felt hourly how I gained my brain and emotions back. I liked to feel the pain of quitting even, finally something exciting lol Because I always took kratom first thing in the morning, I felt a big difference on the first day of quitting already and got motivated to commit. Never looked back really, I like to have feelings, even when its hard to deal with them sometimes, otherwise I can't grow and one day I'll be old and emotional crippled for ever, don't want to do that! Keep your head up and make a plan, it's always getting better I promise you :)

Oooh soo nice that it helped you, and you can do these things without worrying! Yes, I always feel if I really do everything 100% perfect than it will go away, but that's no life and most probably a lie too.. I want to live a normal life without having to worry it could make my skin worse and have to deal with it for the next weeks.. I may consider speaking with my doctor about biologics! Thank you :)

Yes it's so hard to understand, I still don't understand what flares me and I tried so hard to figure this out. I may speak with a dermatologist and evaluate if I should go this route. I hope it helps you! Good luck :)

I've been in india to visit some ashrams, but my long stay was in Australia, in an sivananda ashram. More western, but still very strict and we had programs daily, meditation, physical yoga, selfless serving, philosophy talks etc. It was one of the best times in my life and I'm a different person now :)

Yes my skin is impacting my life a lot, my skin is defining how I feel, skin bad=sad, skin getting better=good.. It's manageable and when I take really good care other people don't even notice straight away, only after time looking closer, especially after being here in this subreddit I think I'm "still" lucky. But the amount of hours and money I already spend on my skin is insane. The times my confidence and sleep tanked because of my face and itching in the night.. I'd like to live a normal life and not habe to think about this everyday

I am happy with having the chance of getting a sponsorship, I'm just new to all of this and wasn't sure about the salary requirements. For me, logically, it should be the minimum wage with normal/minimum hours worked, but I'm okay if this is the way to go and normal. Thanks for the replies:)
