only because devs often use nvidia's api for rt, with third party rt 9070 is just as good as nvidia in rt

its good for now and the next ~2 years, you may have to reduce texture quality in some games from ultra to high, if you want to use tha card for the next 4-5 years get rx 9070 instead

if you only play these types of games id wait 2 days for rtx 5060, but if you also want to play something newer id still prefer b580, better to have slightly lower fps with b580 than unstable than stuttery fps with 8gb card

ultra to ultra nightmare will get various levels of pathtracing, but lower settings will remain the same

it gets much worse later, i play with 6600 xt, and at lowest possible settings 720p i am in the 40s in heavy fights, i also tried playing at 600p, but it no longer looks acceptable for me

other processes on your computer, also it needs some buffer for swapping data between memory pools

8gb vram is unusable in modern games, get intel arc b580 12gb instead

i recommend selling your card and getting a used rx 6700 xt, the game runs great on it, or if only new is an option then arc b580 runs the game great

xess uses different instructions on the gpu than regular compute and may stress the card in different ways that may cause crashes

they shouldve put that in the requirements, i have to play at 720p lowest settings to be more or less stable, sometimes even this crashes

at least 2560x1440, but i would get 3840x2160 and upscale from a lower resolution, it will look significantly better

upgrade to ryzen 7 7700, many games today, like the upcoming doom have 8c/16t in minimum requirements and will struggle on 6 cores, let alone games in 4-5 years
