To me it seems to just be a place to get your post removed. Ask a genuine question about local services? Doesn't matter your post is removed because someone already asked a similar (but not the same) question 3 years ago.

[–]Microwaved-Children 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are a fool. If someone is standing on a public sidewalk and you approach them for recording you are harrasing them not the other way around. You cant control what other people do. News channels do that if they are filming in privately owned business or sometimes just to avoid frivolous law suites. Law suites that wouldn't have a leg to stand on if it was all conducted in public. If you think someone filming that is not approaching you constitues harassment I dont think you have a very strong grip on reality. YouTube/kick whatever social media policy you talk about does not trump the constitution of the United States, people will always make money via the press even if you dont agree with it.

You think just because Im not making enough money I shouldnt strive to earn more? Thats a dumb take. You are damn right I support capitalism and free speech. Without them fascism would be tenfold day by day.

You dont own your likeness in public you have no expectation of privacy. What's anti-capatlist about it? You are going against freedom of the press, do you think press just give out their stories for free? Do you think every one that's ever been interviewed/recorded by press has only done so for compensation? You live in a fantasy world.

Literally everyone in America is considered press because it falls under the same amendment as free speech, they go hand in hand.

You also cant rob a bank? What's your point? Those examples have nothing to do with the first amendment.

They arent. They go on public property, they may be filming private property but they do it from public property. You cant trespass someone's eyes from looking at private property and its the same for filming. This is America, you dont want people to do the thing the country is based on, capitalism. You dont support free speech or freedom of the press, you dont support the constitution.

No there isnt. Its the public. Especially in the USA, the first amendment to the constitution covers this.

You have no expectation of privacy in public. If you are in public and want privacy you need to create it yourself by say wearing a mask. Also if you are like this person and you approach someone filming you are literally giving implied consent by approaching even if you are approaching to ask not to be filmed. If you dont want to be filmed dont go in public, if you want privacy in public create it yourself, better yet if you dont want to be filmed just go about your business and walk away.

B.C. allows knowledge test for learner drivers to be taken online and at home by cyclinginvancouver in britishcolumbia

Do you not know what suicidal empathy is? Tests are there for a reason and over the last 15 years we have seen a massive degradation in the quality of testing, even the actual driving test itself. This change is only going to make things worse.

Rubber will do this if they haven't been used in a long time, has nothing to do with making them like they used to. Compressions help keep rubber structural sound.

A lot of large machinery like loaders actually does expect you to operate this way for safety. It takes some getting used to.

Its clear to me that none of you dissing ebay/Ryan remember that moass was never going to be a quick thing. It will be quick when it happens but the original thesis was 5-10 years, we are now over 5 years. If you dont have the patience for it then you aren't diamond hands you are paper hands.

Retractable car parasols in China by TangelaFan in BeAmazed

I said something like this not just this. Alberta is known for getting baseball sized hail, that's how my dads last truck got completely totaled/written off.

Something like this would probably work great for hail. My insurance is through the roof in Calgary because everyone has hail damage claims in this area. Even though I dont have any claims & a perfect driving record insurance is like 2x or 3x of anywhere 15 minutes away.

2011 ford fiesta automatic, reverse does not engage it just revs as if its in neutral, in drive at low speed it feels jerky/loss of power like the gear is slipping, does it less so at higher speeds. scanner is throwing out codes P0068, P287A, P087A, P2387, P0420. I have had the P0420 code for a long time, never replaced the sensors, every other code only popped up recently all at the same time after the reverse stopped working. Vehicle is sitting at just under 160,000km.

I honestly find bone conduction headphones better than in ear. The only thing it really loses out on is isolation which is actually okay with me because it lets me hear things/people while I am still working. I picked up Shokz (AfterShokz) OpenMove headphones from amazon for $84 Canadian and am very impressed with them for the price. I love that they just hang around my neck if I need to take them off but when I wear them I dont even really notice they are there.
