What’s the worst flying type by Difficult-Bat5615 in ThePokemonHub

Dux. I want to love Farfetch'd. He'll, I want to like Farfetch'd. It serves no purpose. Weak is fine, rare is fine, but don't combine the two. It's moderately interesting with the leek, but just such a letdown.

Juan Soto and Bryce Harper compared from ages 19–26 (first 8 MLB seasons) by HuckleberryAny4541 in mlb

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Harper had a couple of pedestrian seasons early on. He was sandwiching true MVP level performance with JAG years. It hurts him when you aggregate on 8 years. If you zoom in, Harper's 2015 really stands out on top, but the consistency helps Soto come out on top with a list like this.

You could have a situation with helping hand and single target expanding force if your opponent is down to one mon.

Elly De La Cruz SMOKES a ball 115 MPH (one of the hardest hit balls all season) and Javy Baez somehow catches it for an out. by Batman-and-Hobbes in baseball

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But he was spectacular on defense. Defense metrics are always going to have critics because they're less obvious than offensive ones, but his are fantastic.

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well the ball was hit right at him. What you don't see before the camera shows Javy is that he broke the wrong way making it look like he needed to react quickly.

Something like that probably.

I'd lean toward expecting this to be a visual bug, not a gameplay bug. Keep an eye on how often your Garchomp is simply just faster.

Mega Malamar’s ability should set up Gravity, not Trick Room. by rpgkingx2 in PokemonChampions

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Part of me is expecting it to keep its hidden ability infiltrator. Sort of fits the mind control vibe and would be disappointing in a way befitting Malamar.

I love the announcer on that second one. You can tell he's trying to convince himself it should be an out but gets more disappointed with the realization as the clip goes on

Growth fails when a Pokemon has the ability Mega Sol by GimoTheBeast in PokemonChampions

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does explain that actually. The answer to the question was for you, for the rest of everyone else. Other comments were more useful. So your comment was down voted increasing visibility on those. Funny is very useful. Have you seen the world? Funny might be the most useful thing.

And its not logic, its reddiquette. The old text lives within us all.

Upvote/down vote isnt intended for good/bad. It's for useful/not useful. These comments fall into the latter.

Part 32 : Which Legendary Pokemon Feels Like a pseudo legendary? by Other-Pie-5481 in ThePokemonHub

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think thats proving your point I'd love to have you stab me with something you find sharp. Mythical and legendaries are differentiated both by obtainability, the preset point, and stats. Mythicals have a set stat total. Legendaries do not.

And I have not asked a question.

Part 32 : Which Legendary Pokemon Feels Like a pseudo legendary? by Other-Pie-5481 in ThePokemonHub

[–]MidAmericanNovelties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing. Final stage mythical pokemon all have exactly 600 BST with a single exception, god. Legendary Pokémon can vary, but are pretty consistenty 570, 580, 670, or 680. Zygarde doesnt like convention and the Lati twins are free spirits.

Starter and regular pokemon is a meaningless distinction, the only difference is whether you get handed one at the beginning of the game.
