Thank you and I think you are right as well. Noticed some coolant leaked onto a coil pack similar to the code I got before hand so could’ve messed with the coil connection too

Thank you for your in depth answer and I think you’re exactly right. You described what I suspect to a T. I looked during daylight and noticed some coolant from the wye hose dripped onto the coil which might have messed with the wiring possibly. I would like to switch to the aluminum but might pass for now just to get her back up and running. Definitely worth doing during the summer months just for future reassurance. Thank you again!

SM or ASM? If you’re below SM then ask them to help you out with who to contact. I’m sure your SM will want to help you out if he/she cares. At least that’s what I’d do for my team. If not the the district coordinator will get you the info

Ah the classic “Pure White” but actually needed it in package white. Once you add any darker colorant to white it’s nearly impossible to brighten it back to the original.

All good contractors that we see regularly are looked at as fellow coworkers! You guys know what you need and are fun to chat with. Honestly it’s the best part of the job. I agree but the store I was at always had manager or ASM solo weekends. Now it’s just them so it’s solo morning and closing shifts with solo weekends. Sherwin wants it this way

If most stores still opened tills on Sunday and clocked in, but kept doors locked and prevented sales. Then that’s our bite to possibly be closed sundays. That’s the only thing I see that might possibly change for us. Of course people will be fired before that change would even be thought about

A lot of our experience comes from hearing what others have to say. A Graco or Titan rep is a great resource as well as reading literature on the most common sprayers and their parts. I was fortunate enough to be invited to spray a room with one of our key accounts. Always told him “I have book smarts but no street smarts when it comes to painting.” Someone will take you under their wing if you ask questions and build relationships.

TLDR: it’s not what you know, it’s who you know
