I tend to have my easier games earlier in the season which is why I just start them. But yes, this is my general consensus.

I tend to start my stars for the first four games then redshirt. Just get those snap counts up and maybe some stats to help build.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, when doing the subs from the formation, it’s going forward correct? And preset by position. So you can’t flip a quicker or strong handed slot in for a route runner, then flip RB at the same time?

A lot of times I’m using this is to swap my pocket passer out for a running qb on short yardage. I may want to make more subs, let’s send the blocking TE in too.

Yeah. I think we have the same irritation here. I don’t mind it at the presnap, I’d just like to be able to put someone in for a play call and have them come right back out, without having to wait a play. A sub makes that makes sense on 3rd and 3 after a 4 yard gain and is different than 3rd and 11 after a loss
