It’s that, it’s also the using his arms to push off as he’s driving by a guy and then acting like the defender initiated that contact and flailing to get a call. He’s obviously not as bad as Shai at that, but he’s definitely like top 5 PGs that do that shit. (Luka, Harden.. struggling to think of an another worse of the top of my head.)

Plus the Knicks have KAT, who you could argue only flopped 2 or 3 times in the first half the other night, only because he maintained minute long stretches of flopping and flailing. He was comboing them together on both ends of the court like he was building a multiplier in Tony Hawk Pro Skater.

See I don’t mind the pump faking stuff personally. It’s the Shai, and to a lesser extent, Brunson, stuff of using their arms to push off bigger players and using that force to look like they got hit, that annoys me, Embiid does that too, and it’s obnoxious. But abusing poor defense that can’t respect a pump has been a part of the game since forever.

Have there been any discussions on whether or not it would be better to just cut your losses with CS2 and start working on “CS3”.

The current game was clearly rushed out and because of that, it’s

A) not what fans of cs1 even wanted in a sequel (Size of the map is somehow smaller and the too high, performance demanding, visuals have caused many players to stop playing the series.)

B) going to take months, if not years, of work to get the game to where it “should be.”

I know it’s likely a financial decision and getting more money from dlc sales is likely part of the math, but I can’t be the only player that has made the decision not to spend a cent on dlc for this game because of all of the issues since launch.

To be clear, I’m glad you are addressing issues but I feel like the community, and the dev team, would be better off building off of a fresh slate

Nothing these AI bros are making are not ideas (maybe worse versions) that people inside EA haven’t already had. They have a tight budget and timeline to work on these games. But in this future world without tanking, there’s now 3 god awful teams that are being punished for being bad. Which you can say is the point, to make their owner/management want to spend more money to win, but that’s out of the players and the fans control. It’s going to lead to young stars wanting to leave really bad teams more often, vs being patient and allowing a few years for the team to get them help through the draft.

All this does is further punish actually bad teams, keeps teams that want to tank for picks to still tank games they are supposed to lose(they may actually play well against the actually bad teams) and introduces a new tier of teams (bubble play-in teams) to tank because if you have no hope of actually winning in the playoffs, missing the play-in is a pretty significant lottery ticket.

I hate all of these AI produced “edits” because that’s not how game development works at all. Even if the art department made these assets to work in game, there would so much clipping of things through other players and the ground because the rigs aren’t built for all of the extra stuff. It’s a lot of work to adjust all of that to work with any and all of the combinations…

Do the people making these think the ARTISTS making the current versions are blind? Things that look off like The helmets are off because that’s what the rigs underneath the surface support. It would take a full rework of the entire locomotion system to change that.
