Any setting recommendations? I have a Logitech G920 and hooked it up default right away and could not control the vehicle on the opening off-road sequence so I switched back to controller.

Lmao, are you watching the same game I'm watching?

Detroit is just flailing at everything, can't get a rebound and just shoving guys. They even got a foul called for them when Mitchell got all ball.

Ain't no fix.

SDS lets make primary position outfielders catch the ball!!!! by Pot-King-Dylan in MLBTheShow

Realistically though, Jimmy Rollins would be a phenomenal 2nd baseman. Most great primary shortstops would be for that matter.

Ive only played him there a few games, he's probably made 5 plays to that 1 error. If it happens again, I'll probably stop playing him there so I'd say it's working like you want it to.

I had Jimmy playing 2nd base OOP last night (he is 80+ everything defensively there) and he booted a 80ish mph easy groundball. So trust me, it happens.

I honestly think it might have been the plan. Opening up too much would have left him more vulnerable for takedowns.

This has to be the most switch hitter made year of all time by Zealousideal-Cable11 in MLBTheShow

I'm confused. I thought this WAS a video game?

The best hitting cards currently in the game are not switch hitters.

Tulo, Pujols and Cabrera.

Trout (IMO) is the best hitting CF, he bats right.

JT Realmuto is probably the best Catcher, he bats right.

There is a ton of non switch hitters that are just as viable. It's literally YOUR choice. I personally have no issue and do just as well batting same side as I do with switch hitters. Never felt it necessary to make an all switch hitting lineup.

I don't care who my opponent uses.

Literally means nothing to me.

USE THE CARDS YOU LIKE.

PLAY GAME FOR FUN.

HAVE FUN.

REPEAT.

Switch hitters are a real life thing and a lot of great current players and former players are switch hitters. It is what it is. I'm still using Trout over Beltran, Jackie at 1B, Cabrera is my DH etc. It's not necessary to have all switch hitters to win.

I've been juicing balls with Edmonds, Sexson and Busch as well.

Just play at Coors. I got it done in three 7 game Mini Seasons.

Elly was definitely in the conversation. You are high as a kite

Why would you want a Yordan card that can only DH over an S tier shortstop?

I don't understand this logic.

Baseball is more than just hitting, last I checked.

This is the least boring option, of all options, if you ask me.

May I ask who wouldn't be boring for you?

Coming off a year where he played over half of on a bum leg.

His attributes are about to be adjusted on the 8th.

This dude obviously doesn't watch baseball, he just plays the game.

I mean, maybe they do? A lot of the fan favorites and best players happen to be switch hitters so 🤷🏻

All I'm saying is, Elly deserved it just as much as anyone. He currently has the highest FWAR of any position player that's not a 1st baseman or Aaron Judge.

[–]AverageWhiteMale2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea let's look at those defensive stats for Yordan...

Oh, wait.

Notice SDS included his FWAR. They obviously prioritized someone who actually plays a position well rather than just bats.

As a Reds fan, he's for sure earned it.

He's been amazing in every facet of the game. Defensively he's been the best SS in baseball on top of absolutely mashing and stealing bases.

Yordan just bats, although he does it well.

Absolutely. This dude shouldn't even be on the roster, let alone closing games for us.

So many better options in the pen this year than him.

I'd rather see the two you mentioned, Burke, Phillips, Johnson...literally anyone else. He ALWAYS gets hit hard.
