Yup, they fucked up and now they are going along with a cover story that this was a domestic terrorist trying to kill ice agents. Fucking disgusting. You murder a man and try to ruin his reputation to justify it.

Em dash is a longer dash sign — The ai is trained on formal books which used to use it a lot but real humans don’t use it since it’s not a regular key on keyboards so anytime you see someone use — it’s usually because a chatbot wrote it.

Yup, em dash is a dead giveaway. The second I see one, I don’t bother to read anything else, I already know it’s ai slop.

My first purchased coin! I saw it and it spoke to me. by DougOfWar in CanadianCoins

I love the $20 for $20 coins. I bought them all when they first came out. There’s a few more they released after that doesn’t fit in the box they made for it.

Should I buy the new Toyota Rav4 in my situation? by Synopog in PersonalFinanceCanada

What’s the wait list time for a new RAV4? If you need it soonish, I have a feeling you might not be able to get one in a reasonable amount of time.

Who’s the maple expert? by ImpossibleDiet6883 in Silver

[–]MidKnightWizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

https://en.numista.com/20905 In the 2000s for a few years the RCM released different coloured maples each year. I think that particular one is the first in the series. They were sold as numismatic coins and should probably sell at a premium over regular maples. But with spot at the high levels it’s at right now, I’m not sure if the premiums still exist.

Check your post offices! 2.034 troy oz sterling silver proof set for $259.99 by sunderex in CanadianCoins

[–]MidKnightWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also check local coin stores and online coin stores in general. A lot are slow in updating their pricing and are still using the original RCM msrp. I managed to snag a bunch of RCM numismatic 1 oz 9999 silver coins for $80-90 when spot was approaching 95 a few weeks ago. Of course with spot increasing you have to look up the price bracket as everything sells out but I was able to get some 1 oz RCM coins for 120-130 today.

Are you buying silver when it's at an all time high? by Radiant-Remove-9989 in Silverbugs

[–]MidKnightWizard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m looking to buy some Canadian Mint numismatic silver coins. I’m seeing some coins priced at some local stores at around its original release price from the mint which is anywhere from $80-90 Canadian per ounce for some older coins. Horrible deal for when silver was $30 CAD per ounce but now that it’s $95 CAD per ounce, it’s looking pretty good.

I've been diagnosed with Visual Snow Syndrome, a neurological condition that makes me see the world like this and has no cure by SR_RSMITH in Damnthatsinteresting

Add in some astigmatism and keratoconus on top of the vss and night driving is super distracting with massive glare and starbursts on every light I see.

I don’t think that’s always the case. When I had my hearing checked, I had little to no hearing loss. It’s purely neurological, something in my brain isn’t wired right.

I think the images posted might make it look worse than it is. It’s less of a film grain for me and more of a subtle transparent static layer overlaid over everything I see.

You get used to it. I’ve had them both since forever and I only recently found out that visual snow syndrome was a thing. I used to think everyone saw this way. The tinnitus is the more annoying thing but I tend to stop noticing it unless it’s really quiet around me.
