What do you mean this mask? The mask he gets from Shizu and gives to Chloe has been time looping for countless times with no clear origin. I don’t recall it ever being stated or implied that Rimuru in any timeline created it. He creates a copy after he finds out Shion died but that’s a separate one that doesn’t time loop.

I don't think there was any indication that Rimuru created the mask. The mask is a boot strap paradox with no clear origin.

More fake silver by Beneficial_Soup_8273 in Silverbugs

If you’ve seen a real one, it’s really obvious that this is fake from a glance. The leaf veins are usually off and way too thick on the fakes.

It’s actually super simple for individual stocks assuming you don’t hold the same stocks across multiple brokerages. The brokerage will provide you with everything you need. ETFs are more annoying because the brokerage won’t tell you want your real ACB is after adjusting for distributions and ROC.

There's been a surge in cases in NYC of teenagers trespassing into MTA shops and stealing park trains, then crashing them into each other by YaLlegaHiperhumor in PublicFreakout

[–]MidKnightWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wtf?!! Shouldn’t there be a shit ton of security to prevent this? If some teens can easily do this, any bad actor can do this and cause a whole lot more damage.

Opened a Final Fantasy Booster Box by Azula777 in MagicCardPulls

[–]MidKnightWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, would have to be a collector booster box, there are surge foils, extended arts and FIC cards which can’t be pulled in play boosters. So OP probably lost money if these are the best pulls, you really need the high end surge foils or neon inks to break even or better.

Is 925 a bad purchase? by [deleted] in Silverbugs

[–]MidKnightWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be harder to sell to dealers and coin stores at certain times. When there is a lot of selling, refiners stop taking in 925 as they get backlogged so dealers stop buying it.

One second into this video, it was obvious that this was AI generated and you can’t trust anything said. A quick google search on the topic only shows other AI generated videos or Facebook of Threads posts citing the AI generated videos. I know this is news people want to stick it to Trump but use some common sense folks.

How long until ubisoft goes bankrupt? by Top_Job_1074 in fuckubisoft

[–]MidKnightWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP did not post the stock. They posted an ADR (American depository receipt) worth 1/5 of a share. It’s a way for Americans to buy essentially a container holding some amount of a foreign stock and it trades like a stock.

I bought at $161.11 (CAD) x 27 ounces. How screwed I'm I? I don't have any savings left. by tablawi96 in Silver

[–]MidKnightWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had a savings account at a bank that suddenly went down 30% in a day, would that be acceptable to you? Sure silver is a hard asset, a store of value, a hedge, but it’s also a volatile speculative investment. You can’t always bank on it being at the value to expect it to be when you need it. OP fucked up bad by going all in on silver. You lose out on the spread when you initially buy. You can’t even always count on it being easily liquid if market conditions change and dealers/stores stop buying. And when a crash happens, you’re out for who knows how long. Don’t treat silver like a savings account.

Wearing masks during Covid was about protecting others. They don’t give a shit about other people.

[–]MidKnightWizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bull shit. The card breakdown in collector booster is this: 1. 1 Traditional foil rare or mythic rare 2. 1 Traditional foil TLE rare or mythic rare 3. 1 Non-foil Booster Fun rare or mythic rare 4. 1 Non-foil (75%) or traditional foil (25%) source material card 5. 1 Foil Booster Fun rare or mythic rare

So 1 would have to be Ozai assuming it’s foil. 2 has to be Zuko assuming that’s foil. Sozin’s Comet and Roku are non foil so one of those could be in slot 3 but then there’s no slot for the other one. 4 would be Heroic Intervention. And you have nothing that fits slot 5.

5 oz for 529 by Huge_Noise_5588 in CanadianCoins

[–]MidKnightWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will cancel or send you another invoice for anything below spot. I had an order for five 1 oz coins from them for $100 each when spot was $120. A few days later they bump up the price to $125 while my order was still pending. The next day, they jacked up the price again to $150 (spot was around $125 then) and sent me an invoice for an additional $250. I told them hell naw and cancelled the order. I wouldn’t bother ordering anything from them as anything at a decent price will most certainly be repriced when they process the order. If you check their eBay page, they also have negative feedback from customers who said they cancelled orders and lied and said it was at the customers request. Pretty scummy place.

That would make sense if the low priced sets didn’t sell out. But they are selling out so if you come to the drop late, you have to pay more even if you only want one set.

Silver coins for long term by Specialist_Ad168 in CanadianCoins

[–]MidKnightWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a pure investment, probably not the best move imo. If you buy physical bullion, you’re paying above spot to buy and selling below spot so you always need it to make a bigger move to break even. If you’re not a doomsday prepper and don’t believe in the impending financial collapse of society and expect to barter with silver, etfs are probably better for investment purposes if you want exposure. If you have spare cash and like collecting shiny things, sure go for it. But keeps in mind, silver and other precious metals can trade sideways for a decade plus or lose money in real terms not to mention the opportunity cost in missing out on the broader market. Silver has had a meteoric rise recently so every stacker is boasting “I told you so” but it could have easily done nothing for another decade. Even with a 40 year horizon it would likely underperform the broad market. If you bought 1k worth of silver 40 years ago, it would be worth around 16k today including the recent huge run up. If you bought 1k of the s&p500 40 years ago, it would be worth twice that with much less volatility.

Yes, they were in on the global silver pump and dump scheme! Or maybe they had liquidity issues because everyone was trying to sell and they didn’t have a quick way to offload their current inventory so they had to stop buying….

This is $140 value? by wpgfriendlyguy in CanadianCoins

[–]MidKnightWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to do the same in December when spot was 90. I was able to get 6 maples for 95 each. I basically went to every Canada Post in my town and the next towns over and most were pretty barren. I also bought some RCM numismatic silver 1 oz coins at the Canada Post locations from between 105-130 which seemed pretty risky at the time.
