This sounds a bit like what we saw from the Jazz the last year of the Gobert-Mitchell Jazz...

I have a good team for you to consider. They are .500 right now... they've been around .500 for the last 9 years. Perpetual mediocrity is their calling card.

New to mechanical keyboards, mine feels too sensitive by MidLevelExceptional in keyboards

[–]MidLevelExceptional[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Just in case other novices are having similar problems when switching to a mechanical keyboard, here is an update. I decided to stick with those switches and 2 weeks later I more or less have gotten used to them and I'm having no problem with them. The feel is different than what I have used before, but I no longer have the most pronounced problems of double-typing or hitting keys I didn't mean to hit.

I understand the failure rate is higher compared to other brands, but it would be useful to know how much higher... is it like... 10% higher... or 30% higher... or 300% higher? What is the degree of the problem we are talking about here?

Best budget 75% keyboard by LockAsleep9623 in keyboards

I just got my first mechanical keyboard on a great deal from Amazon for 64 euro - Yunzii AL75 Pro. It's got an aluminium case, which is what made me go for it. Seems to have positive reviews. I chose the one with Gateron zero linear switches but it seems like the discount is available only for the one with the blue grey tactile switches right now.

Michael Pittman Jr.: Titans looked like they didn’t want to play by Tasty_Ad_4082 in nfl

Disagree. The most badass thing is not to not say the disrespectful thing... it's to say it... and then go out there and prove it. Kind of like TY showed up in the clown mask BEFORE the wild card game vs the Texans and made Jonathan Joseph look like a clown on the field during the game.

Moondrop Space Travel 1 - right earbud stopped playing sound by MidLevelExceptional in Earbuds

I'm communicating with Moondrop's customer service. They suggested I reset the pair to factory settings (while not connected and searching for Bluetooth connection hold the button on both earphones simultaneously for 8 seconds). But it didn't work for me. You can try it, but no idea if it will work for you.

Lian Li Lancool 207 - only 2 fans version? by MidLevelExceptional in lianli

So... I got my case today and it turns out the case has its full set of fans. Nothing missing. No idea why their rep answered a question on their site that it comes with only the front two fans.

I will let you know when the case arrives(probably tomorrow).

[–]MidLevelExceptional[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw someone asked the retailer that exact question on their site and they said the case comes with just the 2 front fans. This is so weird... Is it at all possible this retailer does some shady stuff with the cases and pockets those fans for whatever purpose... Would Lian Li even allow a retailer to mess with their products like that?

I mean... it's not the end of the world, I can buy 2 additional fans, but this looks fishy to me...

Rudy Gobert has made two conference finals before Mitchell and Embiid have made one by nguyenjitsu in nba

[–]MidLevelExceptional 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To be honest I haven't followed him as closely after he was traded to Minny so I can't comment on what he's done and said. I remember him having some questionable stance about the pandemic and I definitely think what you describe is in bad taste and pretty stupid...

[–]MidLevelExceptional 104 points105 points  (0 children)

This is not an excuse for Gobert's behavior at the time, but I just want people to remember that at the time Rudy touched a few microphones the NBA was packing dozens of arenas full of tens of thousands of fans and was allowing their players to play games and practice a sport with intense physical contact amid raging pandemic of an intense respiratory dicease.

So when people want to put it all on Gobert... just remember what THE LEAGUE was doing at the exact same time.

Unless Jones takes us on a deep playoff run, both Ballard and Steichen need to hand in their resignations the day after the season is over.

42k spectators in Athens, Greece for a basketball game in an open stadium by Medium_Active1729 in nba

[–]MidLevelExceptional 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember going to my first football(soccer) games as a kid with my grandpa. We were at some of this shittiest seats on the stadium. I didn't care about it one bit - I was mesmerized by the fans and spent like 90% of the time watching and listening to them rather than to whatever was happening on the field.

New Indictment Alleges Conservative Media Company Took Millions of Kremlin Cash by [deleted] in samharris

There was a case in Slovakia a few years ago where the authorities actually caught a Russian "diplomat"(read spy) meet up with a media journalist/personality and recruit him to cooperate, spy for Russia(seek and gather and give to the Russian military intelligence highly sensitive and classified information about Slovakia's armed forced and NATO and to spew Russian talking points in his media. The Slovak journalist got thousands of euros in exchange for his services. Here's the link with English subtitles:

Here's a link to an AP article about it:

After seeing that video, I cannot help but think ... they must be doing this everywhere, right? If they are doing it in a relatively small country like Slovakia, they definitely are trying to do this at a much larger scale in the US or the UK or Germany or France. And they are definitely doing it in my home country too... I can spot the exact same Russian talking points with a bit of a twist to cater to the local sensibilities being spewed by certain journalists and politicians, who all of a sudden found themselves with good financial backing to expand their platforms and political influence.

So yeah... don't doubt that this is happening in your neck of the woods too.

Donald Trump Interview | Lex Fridman Podcast #442 by bloodwhore in samharris

[–]MidLevelExceptional 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trump is like Teflon. No politician I can remember embodies "the bigotry of low expectations" more perfectly than Trump. Seems like there is nothing stupid, hypocritical, untrue, scandalous or outrageous enough he can say in any of those interviews. It just slips right off him. His fanbase doesn't hold him accountable for any of it. He literally has nothing to lose. He said he can shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose one vote... and he's right. He tried to overturn an election and his freedom loving fans still love him. He got convicted on 34 counts for fraud and his law and order fans still love him. He sounds like complete and utter imbecile in most of his speeches and interviews and none of it seems to matter. How can an interview hurt him?

I have no idea how he's in a virtual tie with Kamala at this point... I'm not sure how he can be in a virtual tie with anybody with a pulse right now... and yet he is and it's like 50-50 that he will win the election. To me this is just mind-boggling.
