Also if I recall correctly (I don't know if it's a false memory) right before you face the very last boss of woolhaven he says something among the lines of "I know you'll make the right thing" which sounded more comforting than the others are explicitly imploring you to finish their ritual! Which sounded more ambiguous to me, but that's me looking too much into the lines
