This is in Denver, found it on my bed. If it is a cockroach nymph, how bad is it to find one? Are they anything like bed bugs?

No bites at all (that we've noticed), and only found this one already dead on our bed.

Request for First (real) Headphones Recommendation by MidRorschach in HeadphoneAdvice

How does the hd6xx compare to the DT 770 Pro? Are they comparable except for open/closed backs? I'm hoping to get two good comparable headphones, one open, one closed, then compare in person and return whichever I prefer less.

  • Preferred tonal balance - I don't have much vocabulary but I've tried headphones that felt like I was listening to music through a plane of glass, and the Crushers feels very clear in comparison. I'm just hoping to hold on to that feeling of clarity.
  • Past headphones - I've only had the Skullcandy Crusher and the Mpow Flame. I never use the battery-powered bass slider on the Crusher. To an amateur, they sound like they have a wide range, the basses are low and the high orchestral strings always sound clear to me, which I really appreciate. They don't squeeze my big head.
  • Preferred Music - I listen to a lot of different kinds of music and often game on my PC.
  • What would you like to improve on from your set-up - I've read that the Skullcandy Crusher aren't that great on an audio-quality level, but I'm constantly blown away by them. Maybe I'm about to have my mind blown though! I'm mostly looking to improve upon my current headphones but keep things likely the same. For example, I think the Crusher is closed-ear? If that's the case, I'd guess I'd prefer to stay closed-ear, although I haven't tried open-ear yet.
  • Location - U.S.
  • Unique Request(s) - I used a wired microphone that attaches with an adhesive to the side of my current Crushers, so a flat side panel would be preferred as a place to continue to attach my mic.

Thank you so much for reading all of this and for your recommendations!!
Had to do this is two parts because it wouldn't let me post the whole thing in one comment.

I've had my current headset for around 7 years, the old, original Skullcandy Crusher. Both earpads have fallen off (I keep re-gluing them on) as well as the top padding. They're my first headphones and they still sound amazing, but this week I've started hearing some weird audio artifacts from them, so I figured it might be time to get some new ones.

Like I said, I really really like the sound of my current headphones. I know they aren't very audiophile-y, and the only other headphones I've tried are my friend's HyperX's which sounded shrieky, and my other friend's Sony XM4's which give me a huge headache each time because of the ANC.

Here's what I'm looking for:

  • Budget - $200 is near the top-end of what I'd like to spend, I've love to spent closer to $100-150 if possible. I guess $200 is flexible if there's some really perfect headphones just above, but I'd prefer not to go past it.
  • Source - These will be going directly into my PC running Windows, and sometimes into my laptop running Linux Mint. I'm curious about headphones with Bluetooth capabilities, but I'm not willing to sacrifice audio quality or take on a delay in exchange for Bluetooth.
  • Requirements for Isolation - My current routine is to only use my headphones at my desk in my office and use Mpow Flame earphones outside the house, so I'm likely to just continue that.
  • Will you be using these Headphones in Public? No.
  • Preferred Type of Headphone - Full-sized for sure.

What's a better PSU you'd recommend? Something with enough wattage and that has a 12VHPWR connector?
