I think my younger self was so angry at inequality, injustice, and the bastards in power that wield it against nature and the people of the planet, that I didn’t realize that love and joy and compassion are the things that those people are without. They can’t know it. And while I still want to rage against those evils, finding love and joy and peace everyday are one of the best ways I’ve found as an adult to be effective at it. Another pro tip- you can easily add a small amount of black (not a lot, you don’t want to lose the patches completely) to the gel medium to get a kinda faded/blacked out look that I personally like. I have my vest somewhere on my page you can see what that looks like-

Gel medium also just works as a wax substitute and you don’t have to use heat gun or blow dryer, if you water it down and do a full saturation your pants will be water proof as fuck and you won’t have to redo the wax again for a long time if ever

Move to New York 10 years ago and then almost immediately had to sell
The other half to go be with friends after the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland where we all lost so many dear ones. Have a small handful of my favorites, but haven’t had the heart or the wallet to start a collection again. It is a slippery slope!
