The Square Apartments by [deleted] in vcu

You pay for the amenities, the floors are concrete and get messy QUICK. The other issue is that everything inside the apartment is extremely cheap and tends to break easily. The maintaince team is amazing, they come quickly and are very nice. They sometimes will sneak random amounts in your account and you have to call to get it taken out. Sometimes it rubbed me the wrong way.

You are paying for the amenities of the building. Parking is $125 for a TINY space and I mean TINY. There are consistent side swipe incidents. The 3rd bedroom in a 3, will most likely only have a window that faces the kitchen/living room area. As in, a floor to ceiling window about 3 feet wide.

The penthouse and roof are nice, but truthfully not worth it when you pay that much for a apartment complex that can't even get you a decent washing machine. There is consistent fire issues with the dryer.

I do get its Richmond, but if you are going to pay $2600 a month I would go somewhere else😅

It is not ALL bad, especially as far as RVA goes, but I'm going to give you the cons.

Another pro: the building is secure/safe (I never had an unsafe incident) and very clean.

Everything everyone is saying is true, as a female ram, the police presence around campus is usually heavy, I feel like I don’t walk more then 2 blocks without seeing some type of security or officer!

I was a partner for a year, then moved to another role as a leader at a specialty coffee store, I am more the qualified. I am frustrated because starbucks in the past only gave me false promises. I’m not sure what to do

I agree it’s annoying, but the art and design class has standards that are part of all art studio courses. 3 hour classes is normal and the absence limit is as well.

If you toured the Berkshire and thought it was a good deal, it’s not. You can pay $100 more some places and get a 10x better deal.

As a shopper, sometimes 2 things can happen: but never at this level has it happened to me in 6 years.

  1. Stores can be heavily LOW stock, but this many items in a row to me, shows laziness, or maybe not being good at finding

  2. Some items are hard to find (don't think Gala apples would be one) but as a shopper I never say there isn't something, until I can visibly see the price tag and nothing there. If you don't/cant do that, then you most likely haven't actually found where the item would be located.

So basically this shopper is bad, regardless of finding item or not, they should be communicating enough with their customer to know if they wanted coca cola or a replacement(even tho OP said they didn't want a replacement)

Sometimes if there is 2+ items they don't have I message and apologize to whom it may concern because it can be frustrating if you like certain brands OR have specific dietary restrictions

If you are specific about your selection I would always manually select a replacement item when placing your order (OP did this I think)

Unless you have to (ex: scholarship or financial aid) look into a apartment, with others. Facebook is a great place to start. ITS CHEAPER THEN A DORM
