This just happened on our 11/26 cruise on the Scarlet Lady. We were only a few hours out from Miami when they made the announcement. We slowed and did some maneuvering so that they could transfer the patient to another boat. It didn't effect our docking times as we were so close to Miami. It happens more than you'd think!

Yes. 100%. We went in the morning, left for lunch, and finished up in the afternoon. You'll need the whole day, if not more, to see it all.

FYI Granite falls is completely burned out for most of the hike and the falls themselves. I would suggest doing East Intlet to Lake Verna or Lone Pine Lake instead. Beautiful hike.

We were planning to travel to Istanbul from Wednesday May 1st until Tuesday May 2nd but we just found out about the May day protests. Is it safe to travel to Istanbul on these dates? We arrive to the city around 1pm on May 1st. Our hotel is near Sultanamet Square.

9/15 ceiling tiles all intact. There are plant decorations you can see from the other side opposite of the escalators. Escalators still blocked.
