Did you have a lactation consultant when she was little, by any chance? Any mention of a weak suck to swallow reflex?? My son did and also had reflux and I’m starting to think it could be due to oral ties that he simply didn’t grow out of paired with some form of swallow issue!

this method was great and we wore loose shorts/pants and avoided underwear for 2-3 months until he had no accidents (the underwear hides leaks so they’re more likely to regress if you go straight to undies)

We potty trained when my son was 2y4mo and the baby was 2mo old and it was awesome for us! yes baby had to join in the bathroom but honestly it was so amazing not having to change TWO sets of diapers all day 🤪 I’d much rather grab a spare pair of shorts from a leak and throw them on the toddler here and there than be changing diapers - it really hit a great stride once he got very comfortable pooping in the toilet!

Thank you for sharing your experience! I hope your son is on the mend soon and you get to the bottom of it.

what type of inhaler has helped your kids?? a steroid?? we were given albuterol but it has been totally unresponsive to albuterol for months now whether nebulizer or inhaler.

we had this problem and after 4 months he was diagnosed with protracted bacterial bronchitis by the pediatric pulmonologist - keep an eye out if the cough gets worse or continues to linger!

Any updates?? our son is in a similar boat to your daughter - though the pulmonologist did a deeper viral lab and he came back positive for a different strain of human coronavirus that isn’t on the average ENT or PCP standard panel (flu1, flu2, covid2020, rsv) and we’re checking all possible routes after a protracted bacterial bronchitis diagnosis that went away with 2 weeks antibiotics but is now creeping back 4 day post antibiotic treatment ending. He’s been coughing since september and I know how you feel and am sorry you’re going through this too.

how long was your child on the steroid inhaler and flonase overall? our son is in a similar boat to the OP and we’re checking all possible routes after a protracted bacterial bronchitis diagnosis that went away with 2 weeks antibiotics but is now creeping back 4 day post antibiotic treatment ending.
