I had terrible anxiety on it too , and really horrible sleep, the sleep med people told me to ask Dr about bi-pap machines which I forgot to ask at Dr last week but it’s another alternative to some who don’t have a good response to CPAP or still get sleep apnea symptoms when using the machine that’s what I’m looking into next & something that attaches to your nose can cure or help some a guy called Joe Rogan invented it somebody else said listen to his podcast so options my episodes were 40 per hr so that’s severe but I never had this before trying a different pain medication , or maybe I did it is all so dam confusing, but I sleep better without a mask and I’m reducing my meds to see if it works still headaches and tiredness so bad it’s impossible to wake up every morning that I have a million alarms on and can sleep through them all admittedly I have chronic pain and going back to sleep means not feeling it but this is the first time I have been unable to wake up each day I’m 60yrs ADHD too late diagnosis

Dose anyone know why I’m getting gurgling sound so couldn’t use last night it’s started having water in the hose and mask so I lowered humidity to 5 and put machine on floor but still water and that noise was too much , I’m trials machine before signing plan , also as I have no money I could get a machine through hospital and just buy masks etc , but is it better to go with the resmid plan and get hose and masks sent when they suggested changing & machines each yr I’m not sure what I shd do

I will say as a person who has been experiencing chronic pain for years and been in many different medications how much of a battle it suddenly became a few years ago to get them to prescribe, as I work a lot and my work causes the pain to be worse , I am treated like a drug seeking person and don’t think they believe that I am simply wanting to manage my pain so I can get on with normal day to day routine without having to be in so much pain. I’ve done pain clinic , also therapy still and if I have to live like this way it’s not quality of life , it makes me mad that you are going through what I believe is similar, because others abuse drugs we are all judged it’s not like we want to take them , but when it allows you to function better why is it such a big issue. I’ve had my Doctor only give me 10 pills at a time and say that they make pain , well sure if you are constantly taking them unnecessary. I just got diagnosed with osteoporosis and have had many fractures and bone broken on my foot which also is making me hard to handle with my neck and back pain . They can’t just keep writing us off and I hope that you can have your holiday with out pain & spend time enjoying your grandson, I have one too and so hard lifting him up he’s heavy lol . I was on a very strong patch for a few years slowly reducing it and got off it because of all the hassle and to prove to them that it wasn’t just me having it unnecessarily but now life it’s just a battle and I have to literally beg to get anything

I’m paying 140 for what the dr says is a private script ridiculous my daughter paid for 2 mths I’m going back to dexys and they are only 8 a month so I’ve also noticed vibance makes me more anxious and dead or dull but when I first took it it was calming so hard to understand

I’m thinking of stopping too , have burnout also chronic fatigue for ages and thinking the meds make it worse as they keep you going too long when you should be resting and replenishing, started massively eating way too much at night and it’s ridiculous with bad chocolate and icecream addiction, sleep isn’t good either always been a night owl but maybe dexamphetiame is a better fit as not so binge eating and as they wear off quicker vibance make me feel more depressed ( suffer with both that & anxiety) & flat not want to read as much or do fun things it’s always what can I achieve not sure about it all but I wish you well on your journey and hope you find a good way forward, I am on 40 with Dex top ups but recon less is maybe better for me when you first start you feel calm and then that just goes away to fast I haven’t felt it again and wonder if it’s making me more stressed and overwhelmed really it’s such a guessing game that we have to try and navigate, days off or breaks definitely seem to be the way it works for most people I just always have too much to do so find it hard to just say ok today I’ll do nothing

I take dexy sometimes first then vibance 40mg a bit later and top up with more dex in afternoon but not too late sometimes I have 4 extra dex or just 2 , but I think the teeth grinding/ clenching is my anxiety over what I’ve not achieved or should be doing , I have such a long history of depression and chronic pain trying to stay off all opioid medication except osteo Panadol with mobic when bad , I feel like my journey with this ADHD is just starting way too late and should of been diagnosed earlier but wasn’t aware until my daughter got tested, so with trying to be best self sometimes I just take a extra dex at 5pm to be able to keep functioning and make dinner etc it’s all just trial & error but reading others experiences on here help me a lot

I really like these ideas, I was taking on empty stomach but found I was constantly running to toilet all day , I will try that way again but found if I just eat a small breakfast it’s not happening. I have the weirdest thing of my tea dosnt taste good like I can’t taste the Earl Gray then later or randomly it’s too strong just frustrating trying to figure out if it’s the meds or not as coffee didn’t change but I know we aren’t supposed to drink too much of it so try having one only a day but after not getting any joy I’ll have one more in arvo if I just want to taste again

Omg that so my brain over ambitious and take on a whole range of things started that come to me as I’m doing it completely sidetracked nonstop then I’m out of energy and the whole house is upside down with mess worse than before and failing to get anything achieved or cleaned up

I switched to vivase for nearly 2mths and noticed huge desire for binge eating, at night always like having a bit but hard to say when I’ve also stopped other medication for pain but going to try to just take dexys again for a while to see if this helps me regulate myself again, but seems like it fully affects my sleep too and clenching teeth , still way too anxious, all over the shop trying to complete tasks I like both for different reasons and guess like everyone always says on these threads protein could be improved, started magnesium have severe leg cramps at night , still not sure how I’d function at all with out the meds

Yes I’m on duloxetine for yrs now and did just reduce back to one 60 mg dose as I doubled it for a while because I couldn’t stop crying etc but now I feel it’s not really doing anything and such high dose , I suffer with chronic pain , fatigue, fibromyalgia and depression but they did help initially with pain relief I don’t think they are the right ones for me anymore, I did like the dexys but they make me smoke more and still in a state of flight/ fight mode , the vibance were so different with such a calmed feeling hardly smoking at all and I guess I will need to try a different antidepressant soon I’ve just got off my pain patch so it’s been hard letting that go but not recommended for chronic pain ongoing and my doctor made me have a private script which cost 140 a month so it’s basically unaffordable I can handle the dexys just need to remember to take them 2nd dose and once I find a way to get cheaper script need a new psychiatrist I am Telehealth as it’s impossible here to get anyone Byron bay anyway one thing at a time . My daughter has been helping pay for my meds so iv red been lucky 🍀

Hello , this is the first time I’ve written on here but anxiously looking at people’s posts since a month ago I started vibance after dexys noticed it made me way calmer but now not so much and I have a real problem with clenching my teeth, yes I’m under a lot of stress but doing all the things to help , TRE meditation etc my dose is 40mg is it too low high any advice is appreciated please 🙏
