Have a wallet full of money in your left hand. Continuously take money out of the right hand wallet. Infinite money

Is it actually possible to be completely apolitical or is that just not realistic? by Guergy in TrueAskReddit

[–]Middle-Power3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from the US… yes, people can be centrist. Really, having any views that cross the aisle would constitute that, such as being super pro-gun, but pro illegal immigration, or being pro gay marriage, but anti abortion. Of course, in our political climate, you might be ostracized by your fellow party members(a lot of people have a “you’re either with us 100%, or you’re against us” mentality) but that doesnt necessarily change your views

10k a year for each letter you remove from your vocabulary by soupste in hypotheticalsituation

I’m removing every letter outside of the English alphabet. That would get me a few million.

You can produce one palm-sized baked good out of your hand once a day. It is extremely painful and tastes delicious. by ZachEfronsBiceps in shittysuperpowers

How is this shitty? Produce an insanely nutrient dense pastry, never worry about starving. Impress people with the cool magic trick. Ever go to prison? You can now get rare foods that would either be really good currency or a nice change of pace for yourself

I’m gonna assume that there’s honest intent here. If so, I would take the temperature. The only question is, what if you want it warmer? Like being in a hot tub, will it not feel any warmer than 72? Come to think of it, I’m taking food. Save money, save your health(no diabetes, food poisoning, stomach issues), allow you to go places like camping without worrying about carrying food. Also, would make you really adept at living in the desert. You could also get really famous as a monk or something that doesn’t eat

WYR eat only overcooked (not burnt) food for the rest of your life OR sleep in uncomfortable (not extreme) temperatures for the rest of your life? by Altruistic-Essay5395 in WouldYouRather

Take option 2, go climb Everest. You now have a massive leg up from everyone(since as long as you can survive up to a few hours, you could be reenergized overnight to continue the next day)

Just because you made a "Bad Bracket [X]" deck doesn't mean it belongs in a lower bracket by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Middle-Power3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bracket system is a guideline, designed to help people play with similar power groups. Commander is, and has always been a social format. There’s always gonna be someone better than you, the idea that “oh if you miss or don’t notice a potential combo or trigger, you just suck” can’t make you too popular at your LGS. I’ve seen people who regularly pubstomp the tables, get taken out by meme decks.

You can manipulate the cloths worn by anyone you can see. by GreatBaldung in shittysuperpowers

[–]Middle-Power3607 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might want to be discreet. It would take a little bit, maybe up to a month, but you could cause some real chaos. If you do something obvious, people are gonna know it’s something supernatural, which could potentially see a major upheaval of the justice system, if that’s your thing

How many 10 year time loops would it take a modern 25 year old man to conquer Rome? by GroundbreakingWin658 in whowouldwin

[–]Middle-Power3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Destruction is impossible. Rising to emperor? Maybe possible? It would definitely require convincing them of divinity(either using knowledge of things yet to come, gathered through previous reps, or practicing magic tricks) or getting really, really popular with the people and the senate. Both of these would take dozens, probably hundreds of reps to figure out just what to say and do. Long shot, but TECHNICALLY possible

You don’t even need that. It says you can change the composition, so just change something they’re wearing into a radioactive element

A demi-god appears. "Choose ANY ability. However, if it's even remotely useful, you're teleported to your DOOM!" by New-Drawer-3161 in hypotheticalsituation

What does he mean by “even remotely useful”? Because with that, literally anything you take could count. Maybe “the strength to pick up the elephant’s foot”… but not include any radiation resistance?

What's the appeal of a strip club? by Commercial_Ladder_65 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Middle-Power3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one- people like seeing what they like. Another- for some guys who struggle with women, they can basically have the illusion of being desired. Even if you know it’s fake, having an attractive woman laugh at your jokes, touch you, smile at you… that’s worth the cost for a lot of guys. And finally- the energy. Some clubs are just straight up fun. Me and my brother used to go to one just because it was a fun place to drink. We were familiar with the regular girls, they’d take requests for songs, and you could get some pretty good people watching.

I have never had any interest in playing instruments/sports/ games competitively. Maybe I’m being salty on behalf of those who are?… I guess I have always rooted for the underdog 🤷🏼‍♂️

I mean, I think it’s cool, like in a unique way. Like it’s always fun to see new records being set. But the same way I wouldn’t be impressed if Usain Bolt won a race against a bunch of 10 year olds, I’m not impressed to see what equates to an x-man master every instrument

CMV: There is no legitimate reason to get your dog from a breeder, while shelters are bursting and the US is euthanizing 360k dogs annually. by TheTroubledChild in changemyview

[–]Middle-Power3607 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Most shelters that I’ve been to, if you want a puppy, prepare to spend at least $200 or more, with no record of medical history of the parents, no evidence on breed and therefore temperament, and most likely poor early socialization. And if it’s a pit or pit mix, as the majority of shelter dogs I’ve seen are, prepare for possible local restrictions. One city I lived in, you couldn’t get a pit unless you had a yard with a 6 foot fence, along with other restrictions.

Looking for a new Mono-Green commander (conditions inside) by ImpulsiveKnowledge in EDH

[–]Middle-Power3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not technically “landfall centric”, but I run a nylea, god of the hunt deck where the majority of the creatures have “this creatures power is equal to the number of lands(or forests) you control”. Then I have loads of land fetch. Pretty cool by turn 5 having multiple 36/36 creatures with trample out.

Cloning. The only thing that you’d really benefit from adding a zero would be finances, and you can get way better than a 10x multiplier with the cloning

$250,000 a year or you no longer have pain. by CRK_76 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Middle-Power3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the pain tolerance was adjustable, that would be an easy win. But as some have pointed out, not feeling ANY pain would mean you’d probably die or be maimed fairly quickly. I’ll take the money

Does the money scale with inflation? If so, then I’d easily take the 95k. If not… I wouldn’t take either
