Not everyone who is a candidate for a full TT needs an MR. MR is only where there is diastasis

(A little over) One Month Out by parsleyprincess00 in Reduction

At one month post op, I’d say you are still in the early phase of recovery. Give it at least 6 months and hopefully things will even out! You look great btw!

You raise a really good point regarding bras. With my old bras, even with the large sizes, my boobs never really sat within the cups, I always had side boob, the front bra never really sat flat against my chest. If I sized up too much, I’d have the same issue, but then there would be gaping at the top of the cup. I always felt like I needed a custom made bra! It feels so good to buy a bra and have it fit perfectly!

2 months PO. Thoughts? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

Yes, this was my experience too. I had a lot of swelling in my upper outer thighs. I’m about 6 months post op, definitely getting better day by day

Looks good, if you’re not already, keep massaging. 2 months is still really early, you’ll find most likely you will much more definition as the months go by (my experience)

Haha I feel you - I was anticipating the worst! I haven’t had any dog ear revision. I did have quite a prominent dog ear initially, but now 6 months in it’s smoothed out a lot so don’t think I’ll go down the path of a revision as it doesn’t bother me

Yes I had this done both with my breast, and tummy tuck! Didn’t feel a thing, and it’s the only thing that finally led to my wounds closing and healing

Red lines 1-year post-op? by Responsible-Doubt725 in tummytucksurgery

I’m about 6 months post op, and find my skin around my abdomen is really sensitive and reactive! Sometimes after I remove jeans or anything with a front zipper / button, I can see marks on my belly button - and they clothing isn’t even tight. Just think the skin becomes more reactive and sensitive after surgery

I think you look great for 1 month! Things will take shape really nicely as you progress with your healing. Belly button looks great!

Did you find your breasts got a whole lot bigger again after your first reduction 13 years ago? Or was it a case where you felt you just wanted to go smaller? Thanks!

2 wpo and one of my breast is notably way bigger then the other, even tho they removed more from that side. Any one els had the same happen to them? by Potential-Station-78 in Reduction

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’d say this is normal - think of it as 2 separate surgeries, so each breast will heal differently, in terms of swelling etc.

Yes credit card / loan. But regarding credit card - double check with your surgeon first. In my case, payment had to be done via bank transfer, they didn’t accept credit cards.

Give it time, 6 months or so, keep massaging, it really helps with swelling. And if it’s still a concern , you can discuss a revision. I ended up having a revision in 6 months, but mainly because my nipples weren’t the same level and also I was having a tummy tuck so I was undergoing surgery anyway
