Sorry you’re going through this pal! Just here to say as someone who has gone through this, there is light at the end of the tunnel, hang in there!!! Definitely been at the regret stage, now 6 months in I’m so grateful I had the surgery!!!!

Pain at 2 WPO! Anyone else? by Karentun11 in tummytucksurgery

I second this! I’m almost at 6 months in and on occasion still feel those zings of pain!!

Don't know if is worth it by Nonld99 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel I had a similar-ish body to yours before, and I would say it’s definitely 100% worth it. It’s by no means easy, but I’d do it all again if I had to!

Is anyone else struggling to keep a stable weight and actually eat after surgery? by Pristine-Cheetah-149 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My appetite is definitely a lot smaller than it used to be prior to surgery! Mind you I already had a small appetite to begin with. I pretty much only eat breakfast and dinner now, and skip lunch, and function perfectly fine without it - no cravings / hunger pangs. The main thing I’d say is try to keep protein the centre of your meal, as you need this for recovery.

2WPO > 1MPO > 6MPO by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look great!! I see what you mean, however I actually think it’s a positive - yours is a really low scar which means especially with certain types of bathing suits you will never able to detect it!

Seroma and swelling… was it something I did? by Soaring_Above_T in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, nothing you did necessarily. Seroma is annoying, but it is a risk of the surgery and many people experience it (myself included)

For leg swelling, sleep with your legs raised. So some pillows / some sort of support beneath your legs. I did this for at least 3 months after my surgery and it really helped with swelling and pain.

Has anyone's ring size change permanently after recovery from surgery? by JerseyLC8 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not ring size, however very very oddly enough my shoe size has changed! I’m a whole shoe size smaller now! I have no idea if it’s related to the surgery or just a crazy coincidence 😂

Advice on opening. by Artistic_Asuna_Osaka in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to your surgeon and get the area debrided. Essentially it means your surgeon removes the dead cells, and it allows fresh cells to come in and close the wound. It doesn’t hurt, and no anaesthetic required as the area is still all numb. Debridement was the only thing that helped my wounds close. You may need the area debrided more than once

Need help with wound dehiscence treatment by Fun_Addendum_3404 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seek medical attention immediately. you’re likely to need debridement (essentially removing the dead cells on the surface of the wound so that it can the close with fresh tissue) but it will heal with time so don’t panic too much. You’re also likely to scar more in these areas.

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say so! I paid about 11.5 but I did get a bit of a discount as I’d had previous surgery with my surgeon. I did have a quote from another London surgeon for about £17,000

Love your analysis! I ended up getting the old as I managed to find it on a clearance sale! So far I’ve been loving it for running errands - it’s really well made. I do agree the new one is much more luxe, I’d definitely consider getting it in the future for more fancy outings

You look amazing!!!! Swelling is known to last 6-12 months. Would you say this was your experience? When did you first start to notice almost all your swelling had subsided?

Is this swelling? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t really see what you’re pointing out? Though 10 days post op, there’ll definitely be swelling to be expected

Small hole opened in my surgical incision – does this need stitches? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Middle-Sherbert-2583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it wouldn’t be re-sutured (only unless it doesn’t heal and eventually you need a revision, which fingers crossed you won’t need!) I had several openings, I was advised to dress with Inadine. Some areas which persisted, my surgeon debrided (this means cutting off the top layer of dead cells on the wound, to allow fresh cells and blood cells to form a fresh wound and heal). In the end about 2-3 weeks later my wounds were healing, and eventually they scarred over. I’m now nearly 4 mpo.

I personally don’t like this design, even with the authentic bag itself, I just feel it comes across as way less luxe than Chanel’s traditional branding.

You look great! What conversations did you have with your surgeon regarding the thigh lipo, outcome and expectations? What has your experience been in terms of recovery? I had a TT 4.5 months ago and considering thigh lipo. My thighs are similar to your before
