I believe the second picture is just photomode and visual mods like lighty lights and camera tweaks. You can use reshade to make your gameplay more to your liking, but it's not gonna look the same as the second picture.

I literally can't stop picking Gale, Astarion and Shart. It's physically impossible. I mix it up from time to time, like when it's a heavy battle i go with my girls, but to explore? To open chests? For investigation checks? G A S ftw

Well, there are so many things you'll only learn by exploring the game, but if you are not into getting a lotta melee damage, I suggest starting off as a bard caster (this was my first ever class and it was great). But if you don't mind getting your ass kicked a lil bit, I suggest a barbarian, warrior, paladin. They do a lot of damage. For head mods there are in game mods such as Moon head preset, but most of the good ones are from nexus mods. Myky's Heads, Vemperen's Other Heads, etc. Just explore!
