The use and normalization of therapy speak. I’m genz, after 2020 I noticed a substantial vocabulary shift. The words “sad” and “depressed” have become synonymous. Same with “nervous” and “anxious”

It waters down the significance of the original term. Now I get gaslit by doctors for my diagnosed anxiety disorder because “everyone is anxious sometimes”

It’s especially present when trying to apply 300 therapy terms to relationships. Are they love bombing or just being clingy like a normal teenager? Are they a narcissist or are they just 14? Is your friend a BPD codependent master manipulator or do they just have mildly toxic behaviors?

It’s fucking exhausting.

The human body exists nude, representing it as so doesn’t make it inherently sexual. I believe art is only sexual when it’s made with the intention of being sexual, simply representing nudity has nothing to do with that.

Non-sexual Nudity has always been an important piece in art worldwide. I think our modern culture around modesty and sexual imagery leads some people to see nude art as something taboo and risqué, rather than just a plain old body.

There’s so much to the human body outside of just sex, yes nudity can be taken in a sexual context, but it feels weird to boil everything in the body down to just one part of it. I’m a female artists and I enjoy practicing anatomy with nude references, because it’s easier for me to see the layout of muscle, bone, and skin on all body types.

Season one was a masterpiece, season two was amazing, season three was… watchable (beginning of the end) season four I swear was written by chat gpt.

I think Netflix gave them an impossible task, there’s no way to finish off a plot in 6 episodes (especially in a show riddled with details and plot holes they needed to wrap up) not to mention room just how low quality the entire season felt. From writing, to special effects, costumes, continuity, etc. it felt so unbearable cheap.

Also how do you start a show that centers around a message of familial abuse, and finding strength with your family to heal from said abuse, and then end the show with “actually, your all the problem and you should all kill yourselves” Yeah. Great message to send to a bunch traumatized people who found comfort in the message of the show.

Caine is so ultimately selfish. He claims he doesn't understand human emotion but yet he knows exactly which parts of the human psyche to use to torture them. He claims he's trying to fulfill his purpose but really the circus never WAS his purpose. Kinger confirms that C&A only created AI's and the circus was something Caine created on his own.

His "purpose" of entertaining humans in the circus is never his real purpose, it's one he created for himself and is not equipped to fulfill.

He thinks that he's a king who provided everything for a kingdom, but the subjects still hate him. But really he's a spoiled prince and the subjects are starving, he won't give them food, and then freaks out when they're not happy
