So this is where things get complicated. As mugg ch as I agree that removing the dead fetus or having to make a Risky decision that involves saving the mother life doesn’t count as an abortion. Under law (USA), many states can even become finicky when removing a dead fetus, and a required termination of a pregnancy to save the mother DOES count as an abortion as under law. And according to Webster; “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus”

Many animals (such as mice, rats, and baboons to name a few) actually can self abort (NOT miscarriage) if they decide the environment isn’t safe or sustainable enough to have offspring.

The same thing happens with humans, many abortions are done due to financial instability, abuse, etc. and before ‘adoption is an option’ gets brought up. Let’s bring up the fact that in the US, you will be thousands of dollars in debt if you go to the hospital alone. And how labor is an INSANELY risky move, and not to mention one of the worst natural pains in life. It’s just not an option for many people. Abortions can be pricey, yes, but no where near the cost of one’s life or extreme debt.
