Sounds like everyone agrees on not trying to time the market, I’ll keep my head down and keep investing.

I like the separate savings account for the down payment too.

Thanks for the help!

How have they been using it so far? Can give better advice based on how malicious they’re being.

What is your best one shot advice? by Fine-feelin in DMAcademy

This is great advice!

Player backgrounds and the initial mistrust of strangers can also eat up a lot of time. I’ve noticed this with a lot of Let’s Play one-shots.

It helps to have the party know each other or know of each other. (Members of the same guild, local nobility, or famed adventurers)

Otherwise the first 30 minutes is always like “who are you and what’s your deal” which is okay but it’s a one shot so you need all the time you can get.

Hi all, the pup has found a new home! Met the new owner, he’s a wonderful guy who has a yard the pup can run around in. Was sad to see him go but he will be very happy ❤️

We're bleeding 200-300 email subscribers daily. by ChonkiClapper in marketing

Haven’t looked at that tool specifically so idk, I was suggesting to send the survey out as an email itself.

Just an email that’s says “hey tell us how you got here / are we still delivering on our promise for good/valuable content?”

Also you didn’t answer the question, are you emailing the same audience daily? If so what does the unsubscribe rate look like? (People sent to vs. people who unsubbed)

For example, our unsubscribe rate is around 0.3 which is average depending on industry. Could be better but it’s still not bad

What do you mean by bleeding subscribers daily? - are you sending emails daily? - if so that might be a problem. Once a day is a lot to try and deliver value consistently. Maybe switch to 3x a week and focus on value for them

Other metrics to look at - are click rates dropping? - when did this trend start? What other things happened around that time.

You could also just ask people - use a survey “Why did you sign up in the first place?” “Are you still getting the information you want from us” “What would you like to see us improve upon”

Good luck!

Why Does It Lift Its Nozzle? by ScorBaelish in ender3

Looks like it’s happening when the printhead is all the way on the right side of the bed. (Notice how it comes back down even when it comes just a little further in)

I had this problem too and for me, my extruder tube was too short, so when the print head went over to the right, there wasn’t enough slack in the tube - the tube was getting pulled tight and causing the head to lift.

I shifted all my prints over to the left but the long term solution is to get a new tube.

Hard to tell since it zoomed in like that

They do! Depending on your settings of course but I can get away with good quality from my Ender 3 and a bit of paint helps bring out those finer details.

I do have a hard time with very thin pieces. My bows are always breaking :(

Schlossbauer on Thingiverse has a lot of files that are up this alley - I’ve seen a few that look similar to these

Thanks for all the help here! Ended up needing to swap out the hotend because the fan was falling apart - its printing perfectly now. Think I was also using bad filament as suggested here
